Dear Bungie,
Thanks a lot for the years of kick-ass gameplay ranging from the early Marathon Durandal, to the late Halo Reach. It's been a long road and a fun one following your games. The evolution of all of it has been one I feel honored to have watched. I feel like this is the beginning of a new fire. A new intensity that will burn within' the hearts and souls of all of the new gamers as well as the old fans. The Halo community will miss you, but we thanks you for what you have given us and even though a lot of us are on edge about the transfer to 343, you guys are a great group of people and I trust that you guys saw something in 343 or else you wouldn't have relinquished your most prized franchise to them. I hope to see great things coming from this company and have no doubt that you will succeed in all of what you do, and will blow the minds of all of these PS3 and mobile gamers. Keep kicking ass and I am looking for to some version of Bungie Day on one of your new games that gets released. So thank you for all of the inspiring games and music, kick-ass gameplay, fun multiplayer moments, and even better memories. Folks need heroes, and you guys are exactly that. Heroes

Thank you for everything Bungie! It's been an incredible few years playing in the Halo universe you created. Although it is sad that you will not be a part of the new Halo games, it's still nice to sit back and think of all the fun times that came with playing this series with both friends, family and fellow gamers. I thank you all for making this series mean so much to me. Over the years you've truly shown me what dedication and respect for the gamers that play your games can help to achieve such an amazing an large fn base. Myself along with many of my friends and people around the world will be waiting here for your next endeavours. Thanks again Bungie.

See You Starside.

For ten years of the best FPS on the market. For the community, our own personal band of brothers. For twenty years of amazing work. Thanks, Bungie. We'll stick behind you with whatever your next project is. Give 'em hell.

(Note: I do have a life.)

Bungie, your creativity is everlasting, an eternal glory. You have been around for 20 years, creating amazing, ambitious games. From Gnop! to Marathon to Halo, you are what made shooters what they are today. But I know that this is just the beginning, not the end. The stories you will write, the universes you will create, and all the predicted births that will never happen because of your spectacular games, is endless.

Halo is one of the greatest franchises ever made, hell, ever dreamed of. Yes, you have casted away the torch to a new handler, and they will, of course, take it to new hights and glories, but we will never forget the developer who first ignited the rather bright flame. We will never forget you, Bungie.

Oh, just think of the journies and adventures us, the gamers, and you, the developer, will have.

See you Starside, Bungie. See you Starside.

Man, this made me sad, I can't believe that of all the days of the week, the last Bungie Day was my busiest, and I only got in a game or two. I was a bit young when Halo: CE and Halo 2 came out, so I haven't been a follower since day one, but I think I can say that I will miss Halo as much as anyone else on this forum. I have so many memories of staying up and playing Halo all night with my cousins.(which I just did last night) I am having trouble wrapping my mind around the fact that you guys will not be working on Halo anymore, there is no way it will ever be as epic as it is now. However, this new universe is intriguing, and I am very excited for it, because knowing you, it will have to be another one of the most epic things I have ever seen. You can bet that I will be there on day one of the new journey. See You Starside Bungie.

those who touch the sniper rifle will be shot. those who survive will be shot again
master chief in real life
my two favorite guitarists

i shall thank bungie for the wonderful time of halo, but as for them leaving, it is a sad time knowing the crew that made my last decade so enjoyable with friends leaving what they did best.
As for the new crew taking over, they are still a wavering thought of will they make it all better or screw it up? only time will tell when the lovely aniversary of halo: combat evolved comes out soon enough and may help leave my saddened thoughts of a halo 4's creation

all in all, thanks for the wonderful time bungie, and for the random laughs, and awws, and for one final WTF?!? moment were bungie is leaving the greatest first person shooter that changed gaming forever. good luck on changing the future once again with your new creation

Yes, I am a girl. And I will gladly kick your ass in Halo Reach. =D

Thank you Bungie, but i still hope there will be at least one more Bungie Day because I have been dreaming of having the honor to play with you guys. Sadly I have just recently gotten xbox live last Christmas in 2010 but now I am in Oklahoma with my cousins for the summer and they do not have an xbox so I am still hoping for one more day. Although it's all over I still wish you all luck and thank you for all of the years of kicking alien butt.
