Bungie,
I am sorry i only started playing halo when Halo 3 was released. I had heard my friends talk about the amazing games that were Halo CE and Halo 2, but I already had a PS2 and didn't have the money for a new console. Then, while at my friends house, i played some halo 2. I loved it. I went home on my dial-up internet and slowly loaded pages that explained the story and i was hooked. When Halo 3 was released, I went and bought it and an XBox 360 the day it came out. I remember every second of that day. I remember putting the disc into the virgin xbox. After beating the first few levels, I checked out this new "forge" thing. I was amazed as I zoomed around as an oracle making tanks and explosives at will. I played day and night. I played on normal campaign and thought it was fairly difficult (i know i was a n00b).
A week after buying the game, my internet service provider lowered the price of high speed internet significantly. My parents decided it was now worth it. I was so happy! As soon as we got the new internet, I began playing matchmaking. Man I was terrible. Eventually, I became much better. I fell in love playing team doubles, but none of my friends had an xbox (or if they did, they didn't have xbl). I played with random people. In one of the games, me and my teammate owned. We grouped together and won many games in a row. We became friends, and to this day, we remain pretty tight friends.
I could go on all day talking about all the good memories you have given me, but it would go well past the 10k character limit. Bungie, I love you and always will. I wish you luck with your great new adventure, and I cannot wait to find out what it is. Real men cry, and let me tell you, I am a real man. Goodbye, farewell, and amen!
