It really has been too long, Bungie/urk. How can we be sure your office didn't get flooded with deadly neurotoxin gas?
A morsel would be nice. *At this point I remembered the ViDoc is coming out in 3 days* Here's hoping the ViDoc contains some things non-halo related! (Especially considering the title)

I had never played a first person shooter.

Never touched an Xbox controller.

Until the Christmas that I unboxed Halo: Reach.

But this was merely the begining for me. Since I have delved into all of the Halo games, and I can trulty say it is one of the most compelling and mystifying series of all time.

Halo has brought me closer to old friends, given me great laughs, and through all the broken headsets and t-bagging, been an amazingly fun experience.

Today, August 2nd, the last day with Bungie on the throne of the Halo world, is a sad day for not only us loyal fans, but the entire gaming community. Today we lose friends, but we remain united in what brought us here in the first place, Halo.

Bungie, I may not have been on for the entire ride, I may have missed the glory days of Halo 2 and 3, but I am so thankful that I bought Reach and can say that I was a part of something huge, a universe full of mystery and wonder, and a game that has brought so many people together.

Halo is more than a game, it connects with you from the first mission you play on the campaign, and Bungie, we have you to thank for brining it all to life.

So here's to 20 years, and hopefully 20 even better ones!

Love,

Swagga Fish

And forever burn bright, burn blue!

Bungie,
I am sorry i only started playing halo when Halo 3 was released. I had heard my friends talk about the amazing games that were Halo CE and Halo 2, but I already had a PS2 and didn't have the money for a new console. Then, while at my friends house, i played some halo 2. I loved it. I went home on my dial-up internet and slowly loaded pages that explained the story and i was hooked. When Halo 3 was released, I went and bought it and an XBox 360 the day it came out. I remember every second of that day. I remember putting the disc into the virgin xbox. After beating the first few levels, I checked out this new "forge" thing. I was amazed as I zoomed around as an oracle making tanks and explosives at will. I played day and night. I played on normal campaign and thought it was fairly difficult (i know i was a n00b).
A week after buying the game, my internet service provider lowered the price of high speed internet significantly. My parents decided it was now worth it. I was so happy! As soon as we got the new internet, I began playing matchmaking. Man I was terrible. Eventually, I became much better. I fell in love playing team doubles, but none of my friends had an xbox (or if they did, they didn't have xbl). I played with random people. In one of the games, me and my teammate owned. We grouped together and won many games in a row. We became friends, and to this day, we remain pretty tight friends.
I could go on all day talking about all the good memories you have given me, but it would go well past the 10k character limit. Bungie, I love you and always will. I wish you luck with your great new adventure, and I cannot wait to find out what it is. Real men cry, and let me tell you, I am a real man. Goodbye, farewell, and amen!

Many people have lied to me, even my family and my closest friends, and now, I prefer business relations than personal, so no getting to know Me!

Goodbye Bungie, we havent finished the fight though.
