Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

A gift from me.

Oh so you have a problem giving money to a donation based organization?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I think we are getting trolled and frankly it is irritating.

It amazes me how little respect people on here have for Bungie.

It is give me more, more, more, more.

Greedy bastard. What are you, 12 or something?
Who said I wanted anything? Why are you so hostile? Jesus Christ.

I'm greedy because I bought a Swag Bag to give to charity, and I'm criticizing Bungie for not giving the usual platter of awesome on Bungie Day?

Ok, buddy.

Yeah, I'm no longer responding to him.

If I were Bungie I would just not do Bungie Day anymore if their community is going to act like this. It's unfair to the people that didn't complain, but right now it's unfair for people to target Bungie.

  • 07.08.2011 1:33 PM PDT

Bungie stated before that they're not allowed to do that anymore, or can't for that matter.

I would have liked some gamer pics and a theme like back in 07

Anyway Ken, ignore those complaining their hearts out. Most people are upset because they believe they were entitled to more free stuff this *past* July 7th.

They gave away Bungie Blue flames, Bungie nameplate, and some lucky people got steaks for free.

Never said they didn't give out anything. Just trying to point out what I think someone was trying to say that got turned into an entirely different thing.

This is actually saddening that people think I'm trolling.

This is what I am afraid of, if these dumb people keep saying how much they hate Bungie/Bungie day, Bungie will probably end it.

I don't want Bungie day ruined becuase of a couple of annoying people who are greedy and expect free things from a for profit company.

I know, I am pointing out 3 things they gave out for free to their fans.

People should not be complaining.

We were somewhere around Barstow...

Well said Zomechin, some people are just ridiculously single minded and most of all, annoying fanboys.

Where did I say I didn't appreciate anything?

You said this is the best Bungie Day yet, I gave reasons as to why it's not. Do I appreciate them giving to charity? Yes. Do I appreciate them giving me the opportunity to help? Of course.

This being said, giving to charity isn't some event you get all excited for. It isn't a worthy excuse for the lack of content.

All of the other stuff you mentioned was released before Bungie Day.

The only actual exclusive thing Bungie Day had this year was a playlist. Previous Bungie Days had a playlist and more. This is great evidence as to why it's most definitely not the best Bungie Day.

The people that were complaining were selfish IMO, and thought that Bungie should've only done stuff that they wanted.

I agree in a way.

I noticed much of it was due to not getting a swag sack, not getting what they wanted, and yes Bungie not doing what they wanted.

It is sickening.

I'm over it now. But the day it happened, I was mad that I canceled my gorilla order because of the people of the community I trusted. But like I said, I'm over it. I ordered myself some other Swag, helped out charity, and had a cool Bungie day. <7

Oh and btw, OP got his Bag 'O Swag. (:

The loudest voices aren't always the majority opinion. I'm sure most people were quite pleased with their Bungie Day. People are just more likely to make a thread when they are upset compared to when they are happy.

I would of made a thread expressing my gratitude but I was in "forum Limbo" if you know what I mean.

But I am confused as why someone would complain for something Bungie never had to do.

A cable guy rigs your T.V. to give you 150+ free channels and free movies. He does this for 2 years in a row. The third year, he only gives you 2 extra channels. The rest are gone, and you now don't have any movies.

Are you going to be annoyed?

Free things =/= entitlement.

You were NEVER entitled to anything Bungie gave away. Be happy you got anything.

Also, Bungie did not take anything away, instead they gave it all away, for us.

You were disappointed because you expected Bungie to break out all the stops, they couldn't just give stuff away to their community because they were already losing money giving to the charity, and in my opinion, the steaks were a little much, even if only a few members got some. If you want some Bungie wallpapers and other stuff like that, then I suggest The Gallery Forum there are plenty of videos and pictures to hopefully satisfy you.

If not then you have to realize that Bungie day is done, and what you got is what you got, complaining won't change that.
