-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

So massively relevant.

But I am confused as why someone would complain for something Bungie never had to do.
A cable guy rigs your T.V. to give you 150+ free channels and free movies. He does this for 2 years in a row. The third year, he only gives you 2 extra channels. The rest are gone, and you now don't have any movies.

Are you going to be annoyed?

Free things =/= entitlement.

You were NEVER entitled to anything Bungie gave away. Be happy you got anything.

Also, Bungie did not take anything away, instead they gave it all away, for us.
EXACTLY. Did you even read what I posted?

Every year the man was given free channels. One year he wasn't.

This annoyed the man, regardless.

We were somewhere around Barstow...

This guy thinks Bungie is the second coming of Christ.

@Geegs30

All the people that get mad and threaten to leave: go ahead.
We're better off without the negativity (different from constructive criticism) and you won't be missed. We could use a purge here.

I honestly think that there's an applicable Calvin & Hobbes cartoon for just about every situation in life. That guy was such a genius.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

That's stupid, you shouldn't be mad becuase you can;t get free stuff.

But Bungie gave out free stuff the same as previous Bungie days so I don't know where you are getting at.

I don't see the need to be annoyed for something Bungie is not obligated to do.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.
-TGP-

I don't see the point in arguing anymore, Bungie day is over and what you got is what you got. Me I got mostly memories, and I'm happy with that. Complaining won't spawn a time machine and make you head of Bungie to change anything.

Would anyone happen to have another link of this? (or just tell me which Calvin & Hobbes cartoon it is so I can find it myself) For some reason I keep getting an access denied message when I click the link and I'd like to take a look.

Hey Ken, remember when you raged about how Bungie was giving "your" star away to everyone and how life was so unfair, etc? Hypocrisy is fun isn't it?

That fact that you people thought Zomechin was trolling when instead he was actually producing valid arguments without whining and without a sense of entitlement is mind numbing. As shocking as this sounds, if someone is expressing an opinion contrary to your own it doesn't necessarily mean they are trolling.

People who didn't get them did the exact same things you did on the day you bought yours. Some people simply didn't get the luck of the draw.

Unfortunate for us, maybe we'd have been spared all the threads on Swag bags if you'd not got one. Then again, maybe you'd have made just as many threads, but raged instead of gloated?

Oh Spartain...

Such a hypocrite...

You are part of the majority you are complaining about, adding to the irony of the whole situation because you are complaining about yourself.

I don't see your point.

I would be mad if I didn't get something LIMITED EDITION but I know sometimes you can't get things that are LIMITED EDITION.

Your point was that you would have been mad if you'd failed in your bid to get anything, especially due to any ineptitude on the part of the seller. You said it yourself.
You can't then criticise all the members of the community who feel exactly how you said you'd feel, simply because you got lucky and managed to stumble through the maze of retail fail that was trying to buy a swag bag.

  • 07.08.2011 5:26 PM PDT

To be honest it's about time Bungie started to move away from the Halo series and really give it a shot at broadening their horizons. Don't get me wrong, I have been a Halo fan since it came out and I've been with Bungie since marathon, but it's good that there will be new kids on the scene taking over the Halo franchise and giving it somewhat of a makeover. And as I said before, Bungie gets to work on new and exciting things, so really it's a win win for everyone.

I would be mad at first but eh, Bungie said it was limited.

I would of bought a signed poster and I would of been happy with that.

But, I wouldn't say Bungie sucks or Bungie day sucks becuase I couldn't get a swag sack.

What people disliked about Bungie Day was that everything that was 'good' was something you had to purchase.
People remember the free stuff we got on 07/07/07, not "hear ye, hear ye...we now instigate a mad rush for all of you to give us your money". Thats a garage sale, not a celebration.

May 11 will be known as Halo 2 Day for me from now on.

Well Ive been in the Navy since June 25, 2009 and its a fun job right now.

The past few weeks were fun and though I only played a few games on Bungie day it was still and fun time and hope it happens again as soon as it can...
