Spoiled does not apply lol. Ungrateful/Arrogant/Ignorant/Stupid/Idiotic, etc. somewhat cover the ground.

The day was to win lots of credits, celebrate a great game AND IF YOUR LUCKY RECEIVE A STEAK. This might be hard to grasp so read it slow man, but the money that it all went too... omg wait for it.. it went to a CHARITY! GASP! Selling this to make money for a charity?? WOAHHHHH DUDE FAR-OUT... I hope I didn't confuse you, I am also sure you know that many of the members of Bungie are either taking a day off/working on the new project/helping transition to 343i, so I am sure you could figure out why there is only one team, right! Hope I didn't lose you, that's why I am keeping the paragraph short!(: I also rolled 80% of my games filled with DMR starts since the majority vote that.

I could probably keep pointing out how blatantly arrogant and stupid you are but I'll just hold off on that. Your own stupidity is embarrassment in it's own accord.

Sarcasm doesn't help your argument; just makes you look like a tool.

OT: Ken, who are you to tell me how I should feel? Who is anyone to tell me how I should feel? Is it crappy that we all had to listen to a bunch of children cry? (there may have been a few constructive complaints threads about Bungie day but I didn't see any) Yes it is crappy, but that doesn't mean you gain the right to tell me how to feel just because you disagree with me.

Donuts > all other food

*sigh*

And yet another hero tries to rise and be all "disappointed" in us.

And also, to those who say, "BUNGIE DOESN'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING FOR US!", I saw someone in the Reach forum with a very good point.

Uhm, yeah, they kinda do have to do something for us. Without us, they wouldn't be recognized today and rolling around in the cash that WE keep giving to them..

EDIT: Also, Bungie Day '08... is best Bungie Day.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I would be mad at first but eh, Bungie said it was limited.

I would of bought a signed poster and I would of been happy with that.

But, I wouldn't say Bungie sucks or Bungie day sucks becuase I couldn't get a swag sack.

What people disliked about Bungie Day was that everything that was 'good' was something you had to purchase.
People remember the free stuff we got on 07/07/07, not "hear ye, hear ye...we now instigate a mad rush for all of you to give us your money". Thats a garage sale, not a celebration.

Bungie isn't allowed to give away free stuff over xbox live anymore.

M$ said so.

:)

Well, you have fair points in your OP.

Bungie Day was better a few years ago. Remember Cold Storage? :)

I'm going to say more or less what I said to another topic that said, more or less, the same thing as this one.

Don't blame the entire community for complaining when only a small but vocal minority actually complained.

Most of us are cool.

What are we supposed to be discussing here?

"Nothing in the 'Verse can stop me."

You do realize how little sense that makes, right? Bungie is not the only company who has given away free items over XBL and it won't be the last. Right now there are plenty of free items I'm sure I could find. What is stopping Bungie?

Bungie is no longer being published by Microsoft either so I don't see what control they would have over Bungie as a company anymore. If they're not capable of giving away free items over XBL I am not going to accept that it's just because "Microsoft said so".
