Well, how well do you guys think it holds up today. 1 out of 10, gives reasons too.

Pretty long read, read please, :)

Well, I for one give it a 10 out of 10. Games today try to say look at this wow we can move boxes and barrels and stuff, and say o wow we got this great physics engine. But I played halo only weeks ago and compared to the Fps games of today such as Call of Duty 2 where they say, well we got rag doll physics and the AI will try to surround and work as a team, halo beats their physics and AI easy. In Halo PC the AI vs Call of Duty 2's AI the Halo AI is around I say 3 times better. The AI acutually tries to dodge the hits more, in Call of Duty 2, the AI well hitt'em dead. But in Halo your main weapon takes skill to kill with. Like the M5AB with elites, on normal you gotta empty a whole clip while aiming excellently to kill them, sometimes you got to reload a clip just for like 10 more rounds to kill them.

On another example, comparing the Hardest difficulty, Halo beats it, on Call of Duty 2 my first try I went the hardest difficulty, it wasn't that hard after some playing and memorization, and dying I got through the hardest in like 3 days. However, once I started playing Halo on hardest difficulty, after only the first fight on the first level I decided I wasn't ready to play the hardest as that was pretty difficult becasue of the elites were so hard to kill. Later I decided to play some more opening parts of other levels o the hardest difficulty, I decided the same thing.

O yea the physics I say is just azaming, I think it beats everything today, it's just amazing. On call of duty 2 they claim to have rag doll, however lets see what people say when I show them a picture of a soldier dead, standing like a tower upside down with his hands to his sides and feet together, on the side of a trench. What do they say to that.

As, for graphics, I say it's pretty good as I've seen videos with the graphics on pretty high, and I say it holds up pretty well with today games. All, I have is a geforce 440mx so I can't by my game.

rating: 10 out of 10

Told you it was long, :)

eeeehhhhhh, maybe a 6? idk, the single player is fine and things, but if the game were re released just today, not many people would buy that many. WAIT, an geforce 440? how well does your game play and how does it look? i have the same one and my game looks like @%#$. anyway, everyone plays the xbox version anyway. the only reason you would buy the PC version would be for the PC only features in the multiplayer. thats the only reason why i still play it. Physics amazing? maybe not, i mean, a guy, over half of his body just suspended in the air, half on a block, and untill the dieing animation is over, he stays like that.

Well, the graphics are ok, I don't care much for graphics as long as it doesn't look horrible, as long as it looks ok. As I said the grpahics hold up pretty well, as I;ve seen videos of it on pretty good setting. But look at other game physics and compare them to Halo PC.

ya, i suppose it has ok physics and graphics, but compared to the stuff that comes out on the pc and even the xbox, it will make the original halo look like crap.

Its impossible to get a 10. My favourite game doesnt even get a 10, how can you give something that has so many problems a 10?

Halo has held up extremely well. Over two years after it's release it is still selling for $20(most games would be at $10) and Wal-Mart is still having to stock its shelves every month. It has 1500 - 2500 players and over 500 servers on-line at a time.

Yup, even with the warpiness and lagginess it still is fun, there is no bullet lag except for the sniper, everyone has good pings its just that warpiness. Most servers don't even have a lot just a bit every so often, I guess with the lower cost of broadband and people buying it more, there's less lag. Becasue a year ago, I was hearing people say how massivly laggy and warpy it is.
