I'm against for exactly this reason. People who thought xXPROSNIPERHEADSHOTZzXx, or x420x itz BLAZEBLUNTZXxXx was a good idea... they should be stuck with that name.
Well, I loathe my username with a passion. I was 13 when I made the original Bungie.net "sk8r13" account which was named after my gamertag. That Bungie.net account was perma-banned and deleted for, most likely, being immature with all caps- so I made a brand new account with the same name and a ridiculous '09' after it for when I graduated and that is what I am stuck with today.
I'm 20 now and I'd prefer not to have something that doesn't reflect me in any way. I do not skateboard anymore, and my gamertag is not the same. I've already graduated and I am most certainly, redundant as this statement may be, not 13.
It is just embarrassing and I feel it gives me less credibility. I've been crossing my fingers, and sometimes holding my breath for the day to come when I could change it. I just keep hoping that all this hoping I'm doing will not be a waste.
Good point my friend.
I don't have any clue on why I made my name A Citizen. It was just random. I punched it in the keyboard and hit "Submit". Still no reasoning behind it and it means nothing to me.

If you can change your name to make a new. Then you should be able to revert to your previous name whenever you like. Also changing your name should also change your name on the threads you posted on, to save confusion.
I don't think you should be able to revert. That would just add to the confusion.
A gamertag option would be excellent. I saw an old thread that mentioned something like that.
