Yea, but i'm just saying that if hadn't of toyed with him he would of finished him off easily, and forge wouldn't have been able to do anything about it....... because he'd be dead

Oops, i forgot to quote what twinbucks123 said.

Designated Pilot

There's a lot of badass characters in Halo, all in their own way.

I can't choose a single one.

RTAS -blam!- YEAH!

Agreed.

Rtas. If there was a list of the most badass Halo quotes, him and Sergeant Johnson would have the most on there.

"...you glassed half a continent!"
"If it wasn't for the Arbiter's counsel, I would've GLASSED YOUR WHOLE PLANET."
*staredown*

Perfect line.
Entire planet.

But still, although Rtas does have the most epic quotes, Thel 'Vadamee has my favorite.

In the face of complete destruction and despair, while in the grips of the most powerful gravemind, he has no other words but courage:

"Kill me or release me, parasite, but do not waste my time with talk!"

The amount of badassery in that single sentence is paramount.

Magic is magical, so are shoes... Along with plastic.
Don't forget to flush the toilet, because -blam!- stinks.

The marine who survived most of the library on Installation 04 (forgot the name, too much effort to read the book again). Come on, one human only with a gun, against hundreds of flood combat and infection forms... How is that not badass?

Mobuto

Most likely there weren't many combat forms in the library at that time yet.

Thanks.

But I still stand by him, possibly hundreds of infection forms with a small number of combat forms attack one guy!? I know the other characters performed greater death defiant, heroic, legendary and mythic acts throughout the universe. But Mobuto was just one guy, with little firepower taking on the flood with no armour system other than metal plating across his torso, with not even half the training and enhancements of a spartan or an elite. Mabuto also died trying to get the index, deserves a Balls of Steel medal in the fiction.

I CAN'T CONTEMPLATE THE BADASSERY THE GUY POSSESSED TO ENDURE THAT. :)/opinion

-Forgehub: Hub of the Dead III Winner
-Custom Games host for TheHaloForgeEpidemic

Rtas was always my favourite elite.

Cortana. She accompianed through many lonely Friday nights.

  • 07.15.2011 7:55 AM PDT

Jenkins! :P Not really, I'd say Johnson, he's freaking awesome.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Major Faison from Cole Protocole.

Jesus, I would love to have a commanding officer like him.

Why isn't moa one of the options.

Rtas or Preston Cole. I would go with Cole.

Cole is one of the best characters of the Extended universe. His possible death where he supernova'ed a Large gas giant in my opinion was very badass.

Stupid ass washing machine...

Johnson.

The most bad-ass human to grace the planet, with some of the best lines, scenes and storylines in the entire Halo-verse. Perhaps also the most developed character, too.

We Are The Meta.

Johnson.

He just kicks ass everywhere he goes.

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Weapon of Oppression

Pete Stacker, you have to appreciate the fact that he survived the entire war, was an Orbital drop shock trooper, and even made it off Reach and Installation 04.
I'd say he's more badass the Johnson.
He's severely underrated.

Don't get me wrong i prefer elites over spartans, but he is blinded by his faith and decides not to listen to what the gravemind has to say. But thats just my opinion

The most uninteresting man in the world.

Sgt Johnson, nuff said.
