Everybody starts as a noob

Two days ago I was playing with a friend of mine who came over and we wanted to play some good old fashioned Halo Reach. So we popped it in and we played for a while, but he kept making us quit games by either betraying or Rage Quitting. So, the quits piled up, and I got really upset. I told him no more quitting. He accidentally shot a teammate with a rocket, and we got booted, resulting in my first ban from Xbox Live since I started 4 years ago. Is there any kind of forgivness policy? I used to be an Exalted Legendary Member, but I've now lost my Legendary ranking because of my retard friend.

It is a simple 10 minutes. On the other hand, you were in control of his actions... your guest, your xbox, your control.

Bungie doesn't care about your friend or your ban, it was your fault for not controlling him.

Bans in Reach don't affect your title.

I like shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear.

You have five posts. I doubt you've ever been a Legendary Member. Regardless, being banned on Xbox Live will not affect your B.net profile.

HACK THE PLANET!

First the issue of your Exalted Legendary Member:
You didn't loose it because of your friend, you lost it because of lack of forum activity. If you become more active, you'll get it back. I used to loose my Mythic all the time when I wasn't that active! More info can be found here.

Now the issue of the ban on Xbox Live:
It is not really a "ban". You are put on probation. When you quit a game now you can't go back into matchmaking until you wait 15 minutes. After a few days of no quitting the ban will go away. It is a minor set back but it isn't the end of the world.

Bnet PM Policy

[*Please note that anything in my posts is likely to be filled with sarcasm, and should be taken with a pinch of salt. I tend to help people, usually*]

1. Make better friends.

2. If you're constantly going into Reach with a douche guest, then it falls upon you to stop him from playing that way. Reach's only defense against that (for the sake of the public) is to cut you off from playing.

3. Your Bungie.net Title has nothing to do with anything other than your activity on the Bungie.net forums. So you've either had warnings/bans on the site, or you've just been incredibly inactive. Read here for more information.
