after game informer said that elites will be playable in multiplayer, i talked to some people on this site and everyone was saying that spartans and elites wouldnt be on the same teams in multiplayer meaning it was elite vs spartan, after i watched the new videos i looked at the motion tracker on the hud and it showed where the elite was but instead of being in red (for enemy) it was yellow, so that means that elites and spartans will be able to be on the same teams.

I'm afraid that won't be very realistic, but then again spartans running around killing each other isn't very much either lol.

notice when he is doing the rocket launcher targeting, the reticule is red, and he also was able to kill the elite and then something said "You are now in the lead" and "You killed Wort" instead of *his name* betrayed Wort

FYI The yellow dot on the radar was the warthog or another vehicle. The same as in Halo 1.

The red appeared after and in another direction, where the elite was.

And I sincerely doubt that the Spartans and Elites would fight together, it would make complete sense in the Halo universer (yes, sarcasm).

Check out the IGN hands on impressions of a 1 hour playtest of that MP map 4 vs 4,spartan vs elite. That ought to answer any questions.

It also says "You splattered Wort" when he killed him in the warthog. It's on the second video at 0:59 seconds (if you have the TeamXbox vids). And how could it says "You took the lead!" if he was on his team. Obviously they had to be playing against each other.

You'll notice that vehicles show up as friendlies on the Motion Tracker when unmaned. Maybe, just maybe, they aren't done with the HUD and Motion Tracker.
