Subject: If Master Chief took on Six's role, would he have survived? Vic...

If John was recruited into NOBLE Team (just play along), and did everything Six did, do you think he would have survived?

Keep in mind that at this point in time, John had MJOLNIR Mk. V armor that is not compatible with AA's and did not have Cortana to boost his armor. Do you think he would have done just as well as Six, died earlier, or would've survived the Elite onslaught at the end of Reach?

And to the other side, do you think that if Emile didn't die, Six made it on board the Pillar of Autumn and traversed to Halo, do you think he would've done just as well as the Chief? And if he did live long enough to get the Mk. VI armor, do you think he would've saved humanity as John did in Halo 2 and 3?

And please, no fanboyism

If Chief was stranded on Reach like Six, he'd die. If Six made it on the Autumn and then to Halo, I'd wager she'd outperform Chief.

John's armor (in CE) seems to have something similar to an Armor Ability Module on his back, just like the Spartans in Halo Reach, although it may be something else.

And yes, I'm sure John would have died on Reach.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Well yeah, we'd still be playing as him.

john would have escaped. He would have fallen back and found a way to survive. Spartan IIIs are raised to fight to the end. He has speed, luck, strength, and intelligence on his side. Also reach is the place where john has lived his whole life so he knows it much better than six and even more better than the covenant

Where would he go?

The woods, the caves, thats where the other spartans fell back to and it worked out

And they survived because John went to pick them up, otherwise the Covenant would have killed them, or they would have died of starvation.

Those areas were in the Highland Mountains, Six was all the way at Aszod. If he place Chief in Six's shoes, those caves are very, very, very far away.

No.

Obviously.

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

"no fanboyism" yet you are asking if the main spartan most people know about will ever die?

Did you herp?

Wait, if Emile would have checked his motion tracker, Six would have made it to the Pillar Of Autumn. Then, John and Six would saved Humanity even faster. Maybe even successfully capture a covenant ship. Chief would have survived Lone Wolf. His Combination of Luck and superior skill would have let him prevail.

wait, so what are the factors here? Because if reach never gets reclaimed or there is never a rescue mission then no obviously there no way anyone can survive. But are we saying if six had the capabilities of john, and then another john came and rescued the other john, then yes it could happen.

This is humanities' biggest military base. I'm sure they have fall back points all over the world. If not, then master chief would have again fled, found a covenant scouting party and would have gotten a banshee, then gone to the meet up point.

Who said he'd survive the onslaught of Covenant at the area where Six would be killed?

Slow moving objects/people don't show up on the motion tracker. Besides, Emile was going to die regardless, a Field Marshall and another 2-3 Zealots were waiting below the gun.

Well I mean six kinda did just sit there and let him self get surrounded. John would have left.

So Spartan IIs can hear a pin drop in a sandstorm but emile can't hear an elite sneaking up on him?

Not much you can do when you are surrounded by Covenant.

But wouldn't you be cautious if you just saw a Covenant Dropship fly over your head, and then see about 5 red dots appear then disappear? I mean surely he could have killed all them if he was situationaly aware.

  • 07.11.2011 3:19 PM PDT

i think regardless of AA's their 'luck/skill' they are pretty similar if u listen closely in reach 6 used to be a lone wolf and more of a spec ops spartan so to speak with the sabre program so if either of them was put in their opposite possitions the outcome wud b the same

Where is this stated? and well, if a group of 4 (or 5, can't remember) Spartan II's can be ambushed by Brutes, then why not?

That zealot even growled, and Emile with his supposed spartan reflexes just stood like a retarded statue.

Yes,he would have died anyway but the fact that he didn't even reacted to that growl disturbs me alot.

In the package 117 and 104 had no problem dodging sword attacks from the Elites

Just look at how many times the MC has been surrounded and narrowly escaped. Through out the whole first game he fights through waves of enemies. He has gone straight through the heart of enemy strongholds and made it out alive. Truth and reconciliation, two betrayals, high charity twice!! once while the whole covenant is there and second with all the flood.

Like I said earlier, six just let himself get surrounded. Chief never let that happened to him. Only once in the halo 2 game trailer, and he still made it out alive!!
