Send me a group invite, and I shall return a harsh reply. Do not invite me to groups. I do not accept. Don't believe me? Look at the list of groups I'm in right now. Consider this your warning.
Why is it that in groups, threads automatically-lock themselves afer so long. I can understand the need in the public forums, but I have a Q and A thread in my group that is in regards to the news story on the Headlines section on the front page. I didn't want to Sticky it, but I don't have any other choice. If they ever did an overhaul of the way groups work on B.net, would they consider removing auto-lock on threads in groups, or am I stuck with the sticky? Share your thoughts.-GR01

Alot of groups were complaining that people would bring back ultra-old threads . I was in groups where that happened . It was very annoying . Well the same people started doing it in the main forums also , which was even more annoying . So the fixed it completly.
It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC
Yeah some Smart asses in one of the groups Im in thought it woulf be nice to go 70 pages back and bing back threads from the old days. It was annoying and now they cant do it.

If your the admin. Since aparently you can pin things. Then just unlock the thread when it has that brown webmaster near it.
The bad thing though, in relatively slow groups (like one I'm in), the brown webmaster slowly devours the forum, and causes the admins and moderators of those groups to do tedious maintenance.[Edited on 2/28/2006]
It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

Second, what tedious maitenece are you talking about?
