Hey guys sorry if this is a common question but i looked at the stickies and searched and got nothing so here it goes... what programs do you use to record halo pc? I've seen plenty of decent looking vids from Halo pc but every screen capturing programs i use captures frames much to slow for Halo. Any help would be appreciated thanks! Xavya

Try the HBO forums, or if you look in my signature, go to the olympian legend lazy link, then click on video production on the left.

I think Bitterbanana's flycam is supposed to be a film-maker...but aside from that, I don't know too much about it...

You know, I thought of that just as I left my home, five minutes after I posted. I was thinking Xbox Halo, no PC Halo. Yes, Fraps is the one to use...

Just go to http://www.fraps.com and you'll find a link to the download page. Although Fraps doesn't let you record in sound (at least for me, I have to just hold my mic to my speakers :/) it'll allow you to record at a full screen size, or half screen size. However keep in mind the resolution is limited, although I admit I'm not sure what the limit is on resolution size. The free demo will give you 30sec of recording time. That should be sufficient enough for recording montage clips or even segments of a machinima. The full version of Fraps costs $37 if you are so inclined to get it (it's a great value, Xbox capture cards can cost much more). If you need any more info just ask!
