I dont really see a point in that and you dont have to worry about people flaming in this forum.

right, I forgot this isn't Zanzibar.

Well, It would certainly have helped me this one time when I needed to dig up a really old post of mine which I knew was at least a couple hundred pages back.

I'm sure Achronos is doing something about this issue. It's in the near future I suppose.

You can always change the page number in the URL up in the address bar.

on top of that, it doesn't really make a difference for most people unless its a really big thread. Doing so would end up being a waste of time and space...

Wait, and a text box next to the page numbers would fix that how?

I know I should have let this go a long time ago, but it's still annoying how no one sees the point of the page number box option. Let me explain. Instead of skipping pages in a forum of a maximum of like 6, then after that only 3 pages at a time, which is what's currently possible, you could simply (using what information you already know about whatever post you're trying to find) type in a page number that you think will get you closest to the specific post you're trying to find; or if you already know what page it's on, you can just type that in. No matter what you're thinking right now, you can't argue with me when I say it's faster than the slow tedious process of clicking on page 7, then clicking on page 10, then clicking on page 13 etc, just to get to where you want to go in the past pages in a forum without the help of a page number entry box.

Yes. It should be done for Members page in groups, pages of a thread, pages on the forum, everything. I can't imagine it being that hard, but it would help so much.
