Has anyone ever put a "mod chip" in their Xbox? And if so, how hard is it to install? Also, where could i acquire one and for how much?

I do believe that it's illegal, not to mention that this is the wrong forum!

Even if it's not, this is the wrong forum.

Actually, you can not discuss modding (the X-Box itself) at all on this site.

I'll be on my own side.

yes but cosmetic mods like lights and stuff is ok. Shishka said it was cool when i made a thread about it awhile back. just no discussions of modding any internal components like the HD or anything like that. its illegal on the forums, and it will get you banned from Xbox Live, and they do XBL bans by serial number,so you would have to get a new Xbox

He specifically mentioned installing a mod chip. That is against the code of conduct. Thread locked.
