Go easy on me, i'm a noob in the world of Networking....I'm running a dual NIC card setup on my PC to play Halo on XBC. I can join games fine, but i can't seem to host. I'm using Verizon DSL and i had to forward ports for another game i played and wonder if i need to do the same for XBC? If i do, can somebody tell which ports to forward if any?

Are you sure you are waiting long enough? People usually want the advantage that having host implies. If you want to get people on, make sure you "sell" the game you're running, such as make it sound interesting, or uber 1337. Sometimes insulting them works, but not usually.

Also XBC has pretty good directions on how to play on their site, or even ask in the main chat room. You'll probably be bashed for asking in the wrong place but usually someone will tell you where to go to find the answer.

Doesn't XBC stand for Xbox Connect? That is used to connect your Xbox the internet not your PC. You would want to ask this question in the Library forum for Xbox Halo.
