Ah ... excuses excuses ...

Either way, I know myself better than you know me. I'm not a brony.

And I really don't give one who starts this MLP spam, it always ends the same way.

You're not entitled to anything.

Show me all of the threads that bronies made yesterday instead of just showing me one mentioning MLP once. I found all of those threads in a couple of minutes, so if there are a bunch of us making threads like you say then it shouldn't be that hard.

The thing is, regardless of what I do it'll just be dismissed, like you have all shown multiple times in this thread, any arguements made by me are simply dismissed with BS, there isn't any point to arguing with you because yall all just make bronies look like the innocent victims in all this garbage.

Instead of, you know, the people that started this thing and fan the flames, the people who are really just as much at fault as the haters themselves.

I've noticed that the 'haters' started the majority of it, disregarding the past week, but both sides "fan the flames".

I'm saying bronies aren't innocent victims in all this and forcing their love on the show on other people while continuously flooding the forums with that garbage is what people got all frazzled and started this whole flame war, which wasn't helped by all the MLP posts after the haters started, if anything that just fanned the flames.

While you're saying bronies did jack all and it's just blind hate.

Now, which sounds more feasible, person a did something to annoy person and B reacted badly and then the situaiton worsened when the A just kept doing it, or that person B just has a reasonless hatred towards person A?

Here's the never-ending pattern.

Sometimes brony, mostly person wondering what the hype is: "What's the MLP hype?"

A brony may, mostly not, creates a thread.

A load of 'haters' create threads. People recklessly post, flaming each other to no possible end. This doesn't end until a forum ninja finally logs on, and locks all the threads.

Both sides are responsible, but the 'haters' are just as responsible. If you hate it so much, don't make a thread about it. The 'haters' bring it upon themselves when they create a MLP thread. You can't just create a hate thread, and not expect people to flock to it, creating an even bigger hype.

Both always happen in MLP threads. Although, the first one. I say this because the 'haters' are almost the same people every time, and it just seems they do it for reactions. However, the bronies just feed them for way too long.

Person A, being a 'hater'. Person B, being a 'brony'. A harasses B constantly any time he can, but B reacts towards everything he says. This never ends.

Ah yeah they're really on average the same, I'm just against the whole "Bronies are 100% innocent" that seems to be being conveyed within this thread, both sides are at fault.

I suppose it seems like I'm saying that bronies are completely innocent, and I apologize for making it seem that way. However, I still stand with the fact that we don't even really make the threads anymore. If one of us do, then that person is just being stupid.

I'm not siding with anyone here, but both sides are completely responsible. It's mainly who starts it, and there seems to be phases. Some days, the mains will be filled with hate threads, almost nothing else.

Another day, a...brony, whom which is not in the group, creates a mlp thread. Somehow, more MLP threads appear, but they aren't hate. No one knows where the trolls are, perhaps they got banned, perhaps they are asleep. Perhaps they got bored. However, the second the thread titled "WTF IS WITH THE PONIES" is made, the flamewar arises. Recently, bronies have been making the pony threads, although it looks more like a hate stunt, because their accounts are extremely new.

Sadly, that's not the end. Someone is just going to make another thread, and this is why I resort to Private Groups.

People also need to stop bumping the MLP threads that are days old, I keep seeing threads from 7/9-7/11 on there.

ISU Cyclones!

Ah... the MLP phenomenon...

I've never first-hand experienced such a massive break out of a huge fad across the internet. I haven't watched anything but a few random clips that youtube directs me to sometime but from that alone I can tell that the so called Bronys have a point on how good the animation is.

Although there are cases that the MLP fans can be overzealous with how much they enjoy the show... the majority of the blame for spamming up forums falls on the people who don't. They tend to be more likely to start the flame wars or troll over it. At least from what I've seen on the internet.

There's too many threads being made for moderators to deal with it. If it were left up to the groups, the users could moderate them and it would take a lot of pressure off the forums.
Problem, MLP Bnet group moderators don't have any power in the main forums. Even if we ban members from the group, we cannot stop them from posting in the mains.

I'm not a brony, and you only gave one example of a brony. I might as well go outside, and stereotype everyone off the first person I see.
Then why are you in the MLP group?
Why would a non-brony bother joining that group? I mean there has to be nothing of interest for you in there, so what is the point in joining it?
Maybe he, I dunno, actually likes the members of that group? We don't only talk about MLP ya know, we talk about current events and our personal lives too.

Not to mention you'd use same arguement if I had 20 links, or 100,And yet you only gave one link anyway.

the point is bronies aren't really the innocent victims in all this, they put the kindling next to the spark, then they fan the flames.Let's say, hypothetically that a new brony tried to start a flame war. You could easily avoid it by ignoring him.

This thread is stupid, so I didn't read any more than the first page.

I will say, however, that Duardo did nothing wrong, and his posts are still there (Check his post history aherpaderpkids).

Seriously kids, grow up. This pony stuff is even too immature for its target audience (which isn't you btw).

Also, why should certain threads be banned? If people want to discuss it, fine. If people can't discuss it maturely (lol) then those people can be dealt with.

You don't want to start asking the moderators to ban certain topics... Just look at religion and politics for an example as to why this is annoying.

Personally, I don't think we should put a "ban on pony threads."

Some people legitimately like My Little Pony. I don't understand it. I'm not going to attempt to understand it. However, I will treat those topics with the same respect that any other topic in The Flood deserves, as long as it follows the forum rules.

Admittedly, I do not voluntarily go into My Little Pony threads, simply because I can't think of a single thing that would interest me in those threads. I think a lot of people would be better off if they adopted the same approach, rather than make "drive-by attacks" on those who want to discuss it.

With that said, if anyone ever feels like they're being harassed in any thread, including MLP threads, feel free to report it to a moderator. I can't promise that I'll get to it right away, but I don't mind going through those threads if people are being jerks; however, some of you use the terms "trolling" and "flaming" a little too loosely. I think I have a pretty strict interpretation as to what constitutes as harassment, but sometimes it seems like people are reaching a little bit, even for my standards.

Topics like this come and go. A year ago it was "ban all Beiber threads," before that it was, "ban all Rock vs Rap threads." This is an ongoing trend in The Flood. Eventually, MLP will be off the hot seat and you guys are going to want us to ban another topic. Believe it or not, people want to legitimately talk about things that they like, even if you can't understand why they like it. Those topics shouldn't receive any special treatment, either.

In conclusion, here is an image that you can laugh at. No, I'm not a brony, but I do think that it's pretty funny.

I only have one question about this; would you suggest simply reporting posts or sending a PM to a moderator if said poster is a multiple-offender? I know plenty of users who are guilty of this.

Report the threads or PM a ninja. The threads get taken care of eventually.
Reporting and ignoring is the best solution.

Entirely up to you. I don't mind my inbox getting hit with reports on threads and harmful posts. Alternatively, you can catch me on MSN, too (address is in my sig). The report feature is also a useful too, so like I said, it's entirely up to you. As I mentioned, I, personally, won't be able to get to it immediately, especially when I'm working but I make an attempt to get on Bungie.net regularly when I'm at home. You may want to try to PM whoever appears active, but I really doubt anything that could be posted in there, in regards to harassment, needs to be dealt with immediately.
