Make choices, and don't look back.

You are already their friend, we all are ^_^

How shallow of you.

Also, you said you didn't want to be a random person sending them a friend request? You already are.

um... how? And how??

  • 07.14.2011 1:25 PM PDT

Why would that be someone's goal? That's a pretty sad goal in life.

And if you even get to play a game with one, you actually think they would accept it?

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

You only want to be their friend because they work at Bungie.
They have no clue who you are.

Also, why be friends with employees when you can be friends with mythic members?

because mythic members make me feel bad about myself. And yeah, I want to be friends with them because they work at bungie. It's an attractor. Everyone has one. Who would want to go out of their way to be friends with someone who has no positive qualities?

How does working at Bungie automatically make you a awesome person?

For all you know 3/4 of the staff could just be -blam!-s and only the more socially acceptable employees are allowed to interact with the fans, they're all people and working at Bungie isn't a personality trait, it's a occupation.

They probably already have a full friends list, and even if they had room, They wouldn't accept it.

I played against Ancronos once on Noble Map Pack. He didn't respond to my message where I asked for help on using my early Defiant code.

I'm just saying, you can't define someone's personality by their place of work, the only real way to know what someone is like is to get to know them and you shouldn't want to make friends with someone just because of one little thing that is entirely unrelated to their interests/personality/etc.

Well ... I guess they're interested in making games, but you can't base your opinion of them off of that and you still have no idea what kind of person that person is.

You can't just like someone over their profession.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

They are cool people, but wouldn't you find it a little creepy if a friend of yours were to tell you, "You know, 3 years ago I made it a goal to become your friend, and now, here I am!"

I would be completely creeped out that someone worked that hard to pursue a friendship, especially making it a goal before they even knew me? Yeah, double creepy.

Why? I mean I don't want to play with a -blam!-, and what stops a -blam!- working at Bungie?

  • 07.14.2011 1:57 PM PDT

dude, they seem cool. And again, I want to play a game with them first. (-blam!- test)

They're just people, there are more than three hundred people working at Bungie, you've only seen the interaction of a couple with the fans and a couple of people hardly defines the whole company.

For all I know every Bungie employee is -blam!-ing awesome, but also for all I know that the very next guy who I run into in matchmaking that works in McDonalds could be cooler than all the Bungie employees combined, the point is you shouldn't define someone by one aspect of their lifes that isn't even that important and neither is it a constant.

I mean there could be someone working at Legoland right now that later works at Bungie, but you don't want to meet the Legoland employee do you?

No, you just want to meet the Bungie version of that person, I mean it's the same guy, but he has a cooler profession now.

Playing games with them doesn't mean that they're going to accept your friend request.
