See the rapist.
I don't like rap.

*facepalm*

For a brief period of time I wanted to go into the gaming industry, but I was not sure what was required of me to get in. What potential roles are there in store for someone who has a knack for writing a good story and shows an interest in development? Also what kind of education and degrees are needed to get a job?

Also, are there any internships available at Bungie or will be?

Just throwing this out here, but I am currently on the design team for Equestria Online (the My Little Pony MMO). Player Investment designer.

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

I believe that generally a passion for what you wish to do in the world of videogames and a solid college education founding that can get you anywhere...I've seen people succeed in the industry with little to no college experience, though.

Maybe you should get more serious about writing (the fact that you're helping with Equestria is a good start) while starting to go to college. Usually something like a Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in what you excel in can really help you out (you can earn degrees in more than one thing, too, if you have that much time)

Most people who are good at storywriting end up in things like writing stories for games...helping to create whole canonical universes, or producing for games, too. There are lots of websites and people online that can also help you find and get into what you want to do.
