Subject: Can i get some confirmation on this rule?

When my brother had created a B.net account a couple years I could have sworn it said when he went to the forum "You have to wait 24 hours before posting in the pubic forums".

I'm asking this because people complain about others creating new accounts and then posting the same thing as the account that got banned. I'm just wondering if this rule still applies.

24 hours to create a thread I would assume, not post. Normally I'd have this answer right away. But alas- it is late.

I'm pretty sure we put the answer in the FAQ in the stickies if you'd like to look there though. I think I remember something about a 24 hour wait period for thread creation anyways...

You do know i meant people who create new accounts and avoid getting banned and go right back to the public forums in what would seem like in a instant and repost exactly what got their first account banned. Also you have no right to say if a thread is closed or not.

I was talking about thread creation yes. I looked in the rules and saw nothing. I don't think it would be there because it's only a one day thing.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

To my knowledge the forums have never had a restriction on posting for new users, it was only for the creation of new threads.

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

Why would it be there at all? It's not a rule. You literally cannot make a thread within a day of your account's creation. There's a system that stops it, not a rule.

I created a new account for a new tag i had a while back. I was unable to even post for the first 24.

The rule still applies. But i think its more to when you create a new account from the pc that already has one. So if i were to create a new account right now i would have that 24 hour block.

Threads can't be created the first 24 hours of an account. New users can post to their heart's content though.

Now was that a genuine typo or a Freudian slip?

I remember that day to me like it was yesterday.

I who walk alone in this world wrapped in the arms of the past not knowing what lies ahead of me. What am I? A soulless being to be beaten by the rage of those who hate me? Cutting my way past hopes and dreams. Sit in the window sill as I do every day and night resignations on my slate of who I am and what is left behind. Concealed in the words that chases my every thought. I who walk alone in this world…I am broken

This.

I made a new profile to link with my 1 month and it told me that i could not create a new thread but i could post in existing threads.
