We are all going to get banned aren't we?

I am 100 percent pleased with everything they have done so far.

The main flaw with the halo games is that they were always rushed, so alot of elements had to get cut out of the games.

I am wondering if microsoft will rush 343 or if they have learned that time is what makes the game.

Intelligent thoughts?

"Defiant Reclaimer, he who will shatter the land and break the sky apart..."

Yeah, I'd happily see Halo 4 setbacks just to maintain its full quality. Imagine if 343 cut stuff out like Halo CE's flamethrower was :(

In all honesty, I'm afraid they're just going to rehash Halo 3 or something. Turn Halo into CoD: The same gameplay over and over again.

Think about it. They keep saying they "get Halo, they respect Halo", and they also say that ODST and Reach were missteps. What I get from that is a lack of willingness to make changes or add new things.

Honestly, I'll be happy as long as they nail the campaign and don't put it off to the side. The developers seem to make the Halo campaign second to their multiplayer now, and I am immensely displeased with that. To me, a fantastic campaign has more replayability than the same multiplayer we've been playing for years on end.

Add depth to the Halo Universe with an intriguing and lengthy campaign. As long as they don't rush that, Halo 4 will turn out fine.

They got that from how the community reacted.

They didn't say that, Phil Spencer did.

I also hope we don't see the cuts we saw with previous Halo games, especially those in 2.

ODST was fine, it was the price people didn't like.

Reach was the only error

Well from what ive seen of halo legends and from the halo 4 trailer, im afraid they are going to try to make things overly intense, and make up a lot of new things that don't really fit halo. For instance, the trailer had the chief doing a lot of pointless flips and dodges, along with a huge amount of explosions with no explanation behind them, also it didn't seem to be very deep in plot. It was pretty much the same thing for halo legends.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

I heard that production of Halo 4 started in 2008 or so, around the same time as Reach. Maybe they will have time.

And oh yes, everything 343i has released so far has pleased me. Let's see what happens when the actual game comes out.

I like how they try to point out flaws with it but i have yet to see anybody state the way he came out of the cryo is impossible.

Anyways, it is stupid to base everything off a teaser.

I honestly imagine Microsoft will push 343 to produce one game per year, much like CoD, to keep the money stream steady.

He did one somersault, because he kicked the door in and low-g caused him to flip all the way around; and following that he twirled around so as to avoid a piece of floating debris. Hardly pointless. As far as I'm concerned, he moved like a Spartan.

The rest of what you wrote doesn't deserve a response because it's a simple teaser.

I'd read the story synopsis. CGI trailers are to only get across some of the atmosphere and features (like weapons) in the game, but are generally non-canon representations.

The atmosphere was ominous, mysterious and filled with everything falling apart, and new weapons were shown, along with a hint at the plot. But in no way were the actual events depicted canon.

Yes, but did the floating debris need to be there? Why didn't he just push the door open with his hands? And I really don't see why there were so many explosions, what is causing them? I'm not saying the game will be bad because of what is in the trailer, I'm just giving my input on what the answer to the question in the op is. The question seemed to be, what are you a bit worried about 343 making halo 4, based on what they have done/said so far.

Yeah i guess thats true, maybe the scene in the game will be a bit more deep in explanations. I guess the halo 3 trailer was changed in the same way.

Yea and the Halo theme was far darker and scary.

This hopefully points to a very dark Halo game

Why shouldn't the debris be there? It's a zero-g environment. Objects are going to be floating around, uncontrollably. To your second point, the reason he didn't just push it open was because he needed to apply more force against the door; hence why he grabbed onto the environment and built up some momentum behind his kick.

Does the fact that he spun around, or did a little twirl, genuinely bother you? The explosions, well, we'll have to find out what's going on there.

The OP was really asking about Microsoft, tbh, not 343. Whether they'll give the developer time to put in as much originally planned content as possible.

Games are always bound to have content that didn't make it, but it's important that they take their time and are wholly satisfied with what they ship.

It seems like they've had enough time, but we'll see. I honestly can't wait to see what they have to bring to the table. I love Bungie, but it's really exciting to see someone new work on it.

Also, a COD comes out every year because 2 different companies release them. Treyarch and Infinity Ward. I'm sick of that being used as an example. Stop it.
