i found regrets battle the hardest because each time he teleports, you fall to angry honour guards with swords or dual PRs so you have to struggle to safety and go to the other side of the map while enduring waves of in a closed space (at least thier where obstacles to take from)

tartarus was the 2nd hardest, its just running around and avoiding him while shooting him when his shields are down, though his brutes who came to his aid from the opposite hangar now and then gave me a challenge.

heretic leader was a quick battle for me, just charged pp then headshot the the enemies as fast as you can until you kill the right one.

I have to say Regret but Tatarus was harder if you didn't take a vehicle into the fight. However, I mostly dislike fighting alongside an invincible (Johnson on GJ) because, well, they're invincible and therefor lame to me.

I didn't like parts of H3 for that very reason.

Even though it's not a boss fight, I always considered the IWHBYD Elites one boss that you had to kill 27 times (in progressive waves). Tough fight for me.

but johnson only took down his shields, he was never capable of killing tartarus. if he wasnt at the battle then you would have to take tartarus' shield with a beam rifle yourself.

Regret have the most powerful weapon a ground enemy has, can teleport, and has unlimited reinforcements at his whim that are mostly comprised of honor guards. If on Legendary, I would say that there is little competition in the other two boss fights. Tartarus comes the closest, but even though he is stronger, the player has many more options and places to retreat to in an emergency. That is why Regret was the hardest boss fight. (On Legendary.)

the heretic. he was a b**** on legendary. i would step out and stick one hologram, lunge and kill another, only to have the real one put 3 or 4 bolts in and kill me,i cant remember how freaking long it took me to kill all his holograms multiple times before i finally picked him off.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

Regret was all about picking off honor guards until you could get close (they mostly just had swords, so they weren't too hard).

Tartarus was easy thanks to the banshee.

The heretic leader was awful to fight. Three flying elites with dual plasma rifles is terrible, especially since you can't actually kill two of them.

Yup, I never want an invincible doing it for me, even if it's taking down his shields. I mean, I would have preferred to use the Elites to take his shields down.

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

It has been a while since I did a Campaign run, but I believe the Heretic Leader on Legendary was the most challenging.

I run Skirmish!!!

i would say regret,, the honor guards on legendary get annoying

Honestly guys, the heretic leader was a piece of cake on any difficulty providing you had a sword. At least it was for me. What you do is aim the cross-hair at the enemy and if it does not have the same characteristics as it does with a normal foe, (IE not turning red or not lunging,) then that foe is one of the holograms. Also, the holograms do not scream, so it is easy to locate the leader respectively... Just a few of my tips/ thoughts I thought would be worth more than a penny.

lol this... kinda.

You guys do know that you don't have to kill the holograms, right?

PLUS, please tell me you have the common sense to know that the Heretic Leader will be the one flying in the back and not the 2 up front.

I mean, his flight pattern at the start is pretty much scripted. If you have at least an above average sticky aim then you can drop him within 5 seconds of the fight.

Yeah and he always moves toward the same pedestal on the right tier as you first walk in. The first time on Legendary was a learning experience but after that it was too easy.

halo 2 still the best game in the series. long live halo 2.

Dam, I miss the old days playing halo 2 with my old brothers in arms. Thank you my old friends for giving me this account, I shall continue our legacy.

Killing Regret on legendary was very difficult for me, his elite bodyguards pissed me off.

I'm gonna finish it. Just like Jigga did to the pyramid.

tartarus went all over the place, with regret you just had to board him and then mellee him to death, did it in about 2 mins

Actually, I find that I'm more invincible without pants, which is why I am not wearing any at the moment.

Regret on legendary, to many elites.

On Legendary? If not, I don't think that any of these fights posed a challenge anyways. They were, all of them, relatively easy on Normal through Heroic difficulties, in my opinion.

the honour guards using swords is one of the reasons i found it more challenging, you didn't have a tough time coping with them?
i agree tartarus was easy though if you use the banshee

Tarturus if you didn't have a Banshee. If you did, then the Heretic Leader.
