Subject: Question about GamerTags & Bungie IDs

Alright, so basically this is question about the whole link between Windows Live and Bungie. -- I recently changed my XBOX Live Gamer-Tag's email to a different one, as the previous account had been compromised, and I can no longer access it via-Hotmail.

And the thing is, the same email is linked for this Bungie ID, and although I have changed the Bungie Email to my new one, I still have to sign in with the past email, plus I am unable to link my new XBOX Live ID to Bungie as XBOX will only go by the email you are currently logged into, since it doesn't give you the option to login to another account separately.

I was wondering if there is a way to get around this or if an Employee of Bungie would be able to contact me for further support if the community doesn't come up with any solutions.

I don't really want to make a new account for my new tag, because I have quite a few things on here which I'd like to keep, but if it comes down to it, I guess I'll have to, eh?

Hopefully I can get some good feedback.

I dont believe theres a way to unlink the gamertag sadly i would private message the urk or another bungie employee and ask.

you can change you gamer tags email with out changing your live log in....

what you need to do is kinda drawn out...first you need to make a new windows live account(using your new email)...than once that is done you need to goto your xbox and log in with your new live account...and after that you need to import your gamer tag....i think thats all of it but it's really early here so i've could have missed something.

Thanks, I tried all of that, but it didn't help me at all.

What I want to do, really, after reading all that - Is change the login email of my Bungie.net account to match my new XBOX Live login ID, since changing the email of Bungie Accounts through profile options doesn't affect anything but where the notifications and news feeds goes to.

But I guess for that I'd need to contact one of the Bungie Employees.

EDIT: I tried to message Urk but each time I went to send the message it would give me the error:

* You cannot send a message more than once every 30 seconds. Please wait, then try again.

So, unless I ended up spamming him numerous times, which I so hope to God I didn't, the message didn't go through at all.

Well, it looks like I'm stuck as I am still getting the error message by trying to send a message to an Employee, doesn't matter who it is, I still get the error, so I decided just to make a new account, this one, didn't really want to, but seems like there's nothing else to do, except be patient and hope an Employee picks me up somewhere along the road.
