Subject: Swag bag on ebay

Hallo :D

Looks like this guy is selling his swag bag already, making a good profit from it to. Click

Pretty sad that someone is willing to pay that much when the items contained inside is probably worth much less.

Cool I guess.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I like how he isn't showing the contents and may likely only give away the bag.

In his original Ebay post he stated that it was a bag that Bungie had sent him by accident. Kind of low if you ask me, it's like stealing from a charity.

[Is there a way on ebay to see what changes were made to a listing?]

Report it. Though he's selling the bag, he's selling it based on the content of what's inside said bag and as said content is unknown it's against policy. You cannot sell "mystery items" on eBay. Content needs to be made known in the auction.

Almost all items on eBay are sold like that unless it's from a store usually.

But for this, it sounds like the seller is going to empty the bag of the most valuable items before he/she ships it. I really don't trust people on eBay after I paid $50 for a game and I got a fake copy.

Yea report it, you can't sell mystery items on Ebay regardless if it's a Bag O' Swag. It also looks like it has been opened

Well he mentioned in the listing that the bag itself was unopened and he has no idea of the content. One could assume he plans to sell it all as is. In the unfortunate event that he does decide to empty the bag and go "ha-ha" the buyer can file a dispute, get their money back and the seller will be warned and or banned.

As for you, your case is a little different but I would have still suggested filing a dispute to get your money back if you did not. Copies and counterfeit items are also against policy and are strictly enforced when sufficient evidence is found.

If for some reason you lost a dispute case for the item in question then I apologize, there are some real jerks behind the keyboard.

Of course it's been opened, he probably didn't like what was inside, or took out the good stuff and replaced it with something he probably didn't like from another bag.

Unfortunately that would be hard to prove without knowing the content that was in it before hand. It'd be your word against his and in that situation the seller will most certainly always be ruled in favor of.

Yes, there're too many numbers in my name.

I don't trust the statement "unopened". Of course somebody would've opened it up and might've found something worth keeping. I know I would.

Plus, looking at the shipping cost of items on eBay just breaks my heart.

(Including hand made items) Is just part of the generic description eBay provides as part of what "New" may mean when you select it as the item's condition. It's not something you can change.

I apologize in advance for all the crappy jokes I make.

Whoever buys that is an idiot, it's way too expensive, and the seller might have taken all the good stuff out already.

if any of you guys ever used ebay you would know that ebay has some of the best buyer gaurentees and buyer protection. if all they get is a bag, or a bag with crap in it.. they'll get their money back.

whoever buys it.. good for them.. they get a swag bag.. and if its crap.. guess what.. they get their money back.
