A number of sites are listing it as a full release.

A visually beefed up version of an almost decade old game? This is surely a 1200-1600 point range XBLA title, even £15 would be okay. But a full priced release? Truly diabolical. Visually, it looks like an XBLA game too.

What are your thoughts?

this is microsoft and halo we're talking about. Microsoft will never ever put a halo game into XBLA.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

- Fully remastered campaign from one of the best games ever.
- XBL co-op
- Achievements
- New hidden stuff
- Online multiplayer
- 7 new maps

Well worth £40 to me.

8/5/08 Bungie Favorites- NoEnd
7/1/09 Bungie Favorites- RECON Devil
9/9/09 Bungie Favorites- Champion
5/22/10 HaloCharts Favs- Prey

I thought Bungie already annouced it won't be a full release and the price was bellow $40.

if it was a XBLA game it would be the best ever.
but thats not going to happen because of all of the remastered
and new stuff.

plus most XBLA suck or they are a lower grade game which halo is not.

To me Halo CEA is just a huge map pack with halo CE campaign that you can play with 1 other player and achievements. It is still worth it anyways because 3 maps are usually worth $10 so 7 maps at that pricing would be around $23 + the campaign and achievements. (which imo is worth $20 or over) So $40 is a fair price using this logic.

Huge map pack with a different campaign... you mean a different game?

It's going to be a full priced title, no doubt. Think of it as just a total volume of content, and it's definitely justified. The 'well we've already bought and played this game before' point of view doesn't apply in this case.

Signatures are for squares.

Frankie already confirmed Anniversary is NOT A full priced title. It will only be $40.00, opposed to the usual $60.00

Which is great. I would've bought it at $60.00 anyway.

Life?
I have the internet and Doctor Who; i don't need a life.

i would pay twice a full-game price for this. seriously, this is Halo CE we're talking about here, not ODST.
