Does anybody here want to learn more about the Lekgolo? The ones we've seen so far are warriors, Mgalekgolo. I can't remember right but didn't one of Bungie said, "We've only seen the tip of the iceberg,"?

A story from a Lekgolo or a Mgalekgolo would be very interesting. They haven't been explained upon much, allowing rich story telling hopefully. They meditate before and after battle, and even write war poetry. Covenant Lekgolo only respect Sangheili for their skill in combat, while scorning others... to the Covenant and Humans, Hunter culture is almost as alien as the Flood.

A story on Lekgolo would be a fresh and new thing I would want to know about.

Thoughts?

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

It would be highly interesting since they can take ANY form they want.

So if they wanted 6 legs and 4 arms they could change. not to mention i would love to see what the civilians look/act like

They lived inside Forerunner artifacts.

They ATE Forerunner artifacts.
The Prophets where going to kill them, but decided they would be useful to the Covenant, so they incorporated them into the group.

Technically we're both right. Some destroyed (ate) artifacts while most of them simply lived in the artifacts. The information given proves it.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

I've been saying this for the longest time. I'd love a story about Hunters. They're my favorite Covenant species. Also, it shouldn't be hard to fit it into the canon since it'll most likely be a sort of backstory or something. So, I don't see why not.

A short story in an Evolutions pt. 2 perhaps.
But a full blown story about them: nah...not really. I doubt they really are that interesting to certify a 50+ page story to be honest.
The best thing to explain their "culture" (if you can speak of one) is to perhaps have a story from the point of view of a Prophet (Minister perhaps?) who studies them, or talks about their past in the Covenant.

Talking about them would seem more interesting than them narrating their own story for some reason (in my case at least).
Also: for some reason I think if we get a story from their own point of view we would get something like a mixture between LoTR's Ents and Mass Effect's Hanar: a slowly, poetically and in third person (as it is not 1 "person" technically) talking thing.

He has a good idea since the hunters, though highly intellegent, are more akin to animals than people.
