I love bungie but there is one thing that bothers me.
If your going to go through the trouble of busting out the legal team on fans that actually love the game for what it is and take the effort to do something creative with it why not just go after modders?
Technically they are doing the same thing except what the modders do cause problems for everyone. All your legal team would have to do is ask the ISP for the log of IP addresses and have them tell you who it was. They'd have to otherwise you could sue the ISP since its on their network. I just think instead of going after people doing something awesome all this effort should be used to rid XBL of all the problems with modders.
Nothing against you guys I love the game I just think this would make alot more sense.
Ok, 2 things.
* A.) Bungie isn't incharge of the gamertag situation. That's headed up by the xbox live team in Redmond.
* B.) The ISP makes you agree to this contract/disclaimer condition that says if you do something stupid (which includes, but is not limited too, looking at child pronography or trying to hack into something) you can't hold the ISP responsible.
Great update guys, looking forward to the new soundtrack and book(s)
