Hah! I agree with that.

But personally, I thought it was not up to the usual quality of Bungie games. The controls didnt feel right, and the levels were a little on the 'bland' side. To be fair, though, I just played a demo. Maybe I need to play the full game before I judge?

MasterChief420 I think your right though. If you ever have time you can pic up a PC or PS2 version pretty cheap. I have the PC game myself. It isn't a spectacular game, but I enjoyed the gameplay and a few levels in particular (the dream weird stuff stage) and the codes (like being other characters was awsome).

The problem with that is that I have a mac, and dont have a PS2. I was gonna get a PC copy, since I eventually plan to buy one, but now the Bungie store is no more ( for a while ). Im sure amazon or something will have a used copy though

It was a great game, but it was sooo frustrating near the end. You can see where Halo 'borrowed' it's repetitive design asthetic from.

You might even notice a couple sounds they reused later in Halo. ^_^

Its a cool game, nothing special. Annoying on the pc if you dont have a controller, a lot of button combos and such. Havent gotten all that far in it, been juggling a bunch of games.

it's a really good game, i played it for hours when i first got it, then i beat it and havent played it ever since, the graphics were decent, and the story was pretty good... i like the different ways that you could kill the guys .... like swingin around thier necks and breaking it ans -blam!- ... good game. .... just provves that Bungie did infact kick ass before Halo.. im sick of all these guys saying that they diddnt...

Oni was an innovative game. The controls were by far the best I have seen for a 3rd person view and the game never really suffered from bad camera angles (the bane of the average 3rd person game.) The action was fast, furious and unique; the level design was good; the weapons were unique; and the character design was great (who doesn't love Konoko?). The problems I had with Oni were the absense of multiplayer and an underdeveloped story, two things that Bungie prides themselves on. Oni is a great game, but relatively weaker than Bungie's other games.
