Hey guys,

For you people who are annoyed with Vista and paying more for it, this link HERE says that there will be different priced / versions of Windows Vista. But this may not be reliable but it says there will be 6 different versions and low cost versions.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/versions/default.mspx <This link is from MS so there are different versions of Vista...

So the people that thought it would cos a 'gazillion dollars / pounds have good news now...

This thread is for people who dont know about Vista and will make you think twice about getting it.

None of that help with the pricing of Vista, as no prices or even hints are given.

Not to mention the fact that you dont know which version of Vista you need to play games. Im thinking maybe the basic version might be missing some stuff you need.

If you look at the first link you can see that there will be lower priced versions according to that. But yet again im not sure but there will be the basic / lower priced version of vista.

From what I have read, the Home Basic version will be $99. Of course that is just pure speculation but I would bet that would be the price too.
