Did you know you could have downloaded a free demo to test the game on your system?

Chances are he didn't. Sometimes the obvious needs to be stated.

Yes the tozter is good in close combat...
yes you can connect to each other online
9.5-10/10

It's worth buying just to support the demo.

1. It is definitely worth buying even though you have Halo 2.

2. It does have online multi-player and no matter what other people say as long as you have a nice internet connection then you won't see too much ping and having to shoot where you think people will be. At this moment I am having to play on 56k Dial-Up (because I can't pay for my T1 at the moment) and even though I'm on 56k I am still able to play with a small amount of ping in most games.

3. The flamethrower is only good on small maps where short range weapons dominate, the fuel rod cannon is very good though.

4. If you have HaloPC alone then I would rate it a 9/10 that 1 more is because of the ping and the low variety of maps besides CTF on Bloodgulch. If you have downloaded Halo CE I would rate it a 10/10 because the delagginator reduces the effect of the ping to almost nothing and there are so many modded and different maps that you can play forever and still be to where you haven't played the same game twice.

Heck yes it is worth buying. I know you can have Xbox live, and I don't know how many people can play. But I do know that you play with up to 16 people have 12 hogs (6 green 6 black rocket gunner), 8 scorpions, and a heck load of ghosts. Oh and did I forget Banshees? you can have a regular 4 banshees. On the map infinity you can either have 8 or 6 can't remember. And there is 6 new maps. I've played halo 2 a little too. And I know there's alot of maps. But why not play the old halo 1 a little bit? I don't have an Xbox though.

Oh yeah I was talking about multiplayer. ( in the mission map the maw there's a hidden grunt. when you can see the grunts with fuel cannons when your racing, stop at the pillar. turn and go through that coridoor. On the right half way threw theres another coridoor. go in that. at the end there's a hidden grunt. go up to him and see what he has to say. he won't shoot. and it'll be a little hard to understand him.)

It doesn't feel like it originally did on the xbox. It simply feels like a lag-tastic sloppy port. If you think the morons on xbox live are bad just wait until you see all the Tk'n A-holes on Halo PC. There is little to no team work on the PC version....its all about the kills no matter what game type you are playing.

It lags sometimes and people accept that. It is fun, however. There are Tkers, but you see that anywhere. Why is there no teamwork? Because there's little to no communication. There is no voice chat and most people don't feel like typing. I have seen games where there is a great amount of team work on one team but not the other. Guess who wins? The experience is what you make it. If you go in thinking bad things, then you're going ot hate it. And not everyone is all about kills as you say. There are some who are, but there are alot of courteous gamers as well.

And the morons on Xbox Live are still worse because there is nothing restraining them from verbally assaulting everybody if they have a mike, whereas in Halo PC if you want to be a retard and talk trash, you have to type it.
