Assume he did not do it. There's plenty of people who say they've done it, none could ever prove it. Unless a vid is made, assume it has not been done.

Lol, I had one guy tell me "Yeah, I did it, it wasn't that hard".

Like I said previously: it was the hardest thing I've ever completed in a video game, but there is no way of proving that I did it.

Posted by: Grumpy1Cool. So when did you complete mythic? And he just asked me how I beat those parts, not about how hard it was. But you're right, there is no way to prove or disprove me.
Like I said, Black Eye is how you beat the game SLASO. All strategy is about your state of health and how you recharge. The strategies for Legendary do not work on SLASO, it's all about BE and how you work with it.

If you don't know that, you haven't played SLASO or even coop, that's my opinion anyway. I believe you played with most skulls on but I think you forgot BE.

I didn't say the strategies for legendary, I said the routes and locations of the enemies.
But it's fine if you don't believe me, it's a rather incredible feat.

Well, I'd like to believe you but you've still offered no explanation as to how you kept your health. With all skulls active, BE is that much harder.

Say you are at the first hanger, you run in and pick up nades but as you are picking them up the Grunts have tossed 5 or 6 plasmas your way (Catch), any cover boxes are knocked flying around because of nades and Sputnik and the Elites and Grunts fire faster at you (Angry). So how you gonna get health, they blow up the turret in the first five seconds so that is out. By the time you could use health all allies are dead.

You can't go down and melee easily, all the enemies are facing you at all times (Armory) and even if you smack an enemy in the face, he will not turn around (Ghost) and even if you get health from one character there are 7 or 8 other enemies firing faster than you can and the Grunts that are further away never stop tossing nades and Blind is gruesome in these kinds of situations.

You simply cannot spam them with nades and BR 'em either so even if you get past the first wave I described, there's two more waves and your health will be down.

BE is killer diller and you can't take a step without a total concentration of what to do about your health so you leaving out any mention of it caused my suspicions. That and you seemed to be awfully good at sniping with Blind on. Most of this just sounded like a Legendary walkthrough with a few skulls tossed in. Sorry if I'm wrong.

What always happened to me is I would wind up in a safe corner (if I was lucky) unable to move because my health was critical. No way to go back and no way to go forward, out of ammo, just sitting there pondering my fate. Finally I would try to move up to melee for health and I would die. Repeat that 10,000 times and that is SLASO for me.

This is where you are going to stop believing me.
I don't have a strategy for regaining health. I just try to leave a grunt alive and get him one shot so I can melee.

Save Lives. Go Vegan.

2 is probably easier than 3/Reach because Iron doesn't make the level restart.

Go ahead and try it, you won't last five minutes unless you hide and don't move. There's a reason nobody has ever mastered H2 SLASO.

This is a Reach account that I created the day they announced his name in a bnet weekly update. Any stats regarding ODST or Halo 3 are irrelevant. Also, Halo CE master race. Halo 1 > other halo games > other games.

If you know the maps and how enemies spawn I could see it not being that hard. The same has been done in Reach and Halo 3 and those players memorize spawns on enemies so they can avoid as many as possible and skip through the map. It relies more on a player's memory and free time than skill.

You have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about. Go play H2 SLASO and then talk.

I disagree. Mythic in Halo 3 and Halo: Reach is mostly about luck and takes some skill. Mythic in Halo 2 requires patience and a lot of skill. You don't die randomly in Halo 2. You will almost always die by the Covies hand (I think I can make a creepypasta using this expression...).

Unless you've mastered sword flying (and I don't even know if it works on cloaked enemies), it's impossible to do Halo 2 levels with all skulls on in a single run.

Metropolis is the best example of this. You can't drive to the other side of the bridge in the Warthog because you'll be torn up by the time you reach the middle of the bridge. Even if you do make it to the tunnel using the Scorpion or hijacking a Banshee, there's about 3 waves (maybe 4) of Covies that spawn in the tunnel. You can't keep 1 alive because he will shoot at you (even if you cloak and run past him, you still have to deal with the Zealot. There is a possibility of assassination, but you'd have to very fast) and you need the Warthog to get past the next area (the Gauss Warthog gets destroyed IIRC).

Then there's Cairo Station. You can't skip the room preceding the hangar battles, as there is an Ultra Elite and 3 Ultra Grunts in the room. Even if you make it to the hangar battle unscathed, there is very little chance of success.

The only feasible level on Mythic is Outskirts. Metropolis is also possible, but I don't know the extent. I don't know about Uprising, but I do know that sword flying masters can fly through it on Legendary.

I think that it's safe to say that while Halo 2 Slaso is without a doubt not impossible, the amount of patience, planning and time that the player has made most people crack under the difficulty that this challenge presents.

"Die? Didn't you know? Spartans never die." - Kurt-051's last words.

I heard a team of four defeated Halo 2 on Mythic just to see if there was a Legendary ending.

However, I don't know if anyone beated it by him/herself.

You gotta do better than just heard my friend. No pic, no proof no truth. Besides, why would a team of four make any difference, you either beat the game SLASO or coop LASO. All skulls means all skulls to, none of this not playing with Blind on crap we've heard about.

I beat it on legendary. I don't waste my time looking for skulls. Only found one the whole time and I have no idea how to activate it anyway.

None of the halo campaigns are that hard. Veteran on Call of Duty is much harder than legendary on halo 2. Download Classic off the marketplace and give it a try. I've never beaten slaso, but I've beaten legendary on all the games and find them all to be pretty easy if you just keep moving. Sure there are a few hard parts that you will die a couple dozen times, but having memory of the events and just taking it step by step eliminates that. I don't count SLASO anyways coz it messes with the core gameplay elements and changes the feel. Never played with skulls seeing how I didn't look for them and have no idea how to use em.

Go ahead and try SLASO, you might even learn more.
