So lately comcast has decided to suck giant -blam!- so my internet connection keeps dropping while i;m in the middle of a match just wanted to know if i would get banned for my internet dropping :/

but the thing is is that im not turning of my router or anything its just comcast being stupid itll drop in the middle of the game then i get screwed out of credits

Yes, you will get banned. You won't get anything more than a quit-ban, but that is a ban nevertheless.

well in any case, you could write bungie an email (a well thought out and planned one i should add.) and explain the situation and they could give you a definitive answer. but as far as the ban system sees it, and same as i see it, you are responsible for trying to play and ultimately ruining many games for people when you end up getting kicked off. the system bans you to keep you from hurting other players. its unbiased in this decision. regardless of the reason behind it, its to ensure less people are affected by YOUR spotty internet. contact comcast and stop playing till your issues are fixed. nothing personal, and nobody to be angry with other than them. you pay for reliable internet, they dont supply it, other issues arise for you because of it.

Yes, I had the same problem with my internet company Charter Communications. Nothing that severe, just a quit ban followed by a probation.

If I was you, I would try getting in touch with Comcast and get one of their workers to take a look and see if they can fix the problem.

They stated that internet connection should not ruin everyone else's experience online, also the fact that the banhammer is automated and can't tell the difference between a quit and a lag out
