Minecraft at its core is just as easy to design as a flash game >_<

COD:
If you want to be a boring soldier go:
*Join the army.
*Become an actor.
*Play with action figures.
*Dress up.
People who created COD must have a terrible imagination. Gaming is all about taking you were you've never been before. COD is not that.
Film-based games:
What the hell is wrong with Willy Wonka and all those other terrible "waste of space" games made just for promoting films. Pirates of Caribbean. Games which are meant just to be games are real games.
Flash games:
I HATE small crappy flash games which took the developer two minutes of click and drag and three minutes of ActionScript scripting.
Java games:
My exception is Minecraft. My second exception to this rule "was" RuneScape, but due to the new graphics update to RuneScape I no-longer play. Java is an absolute waste of a runtime-environment. Although it's language syntax is very nice, it's crappy runtime speeds and tardy conventions contradict any pros. Any game made in it is at a massive dis-advantage.
Games WERE made to be native, either console or desktop NOT web/mobile games.
NOTE: These are just my opinions as a computer programmer and a gamer.
