I love halo I bought the XBox over the ps3 just to have halo and play it my only problem is that i am 14 years old and i have to have my mother approve the game to buy it and the only things that are on ESRB reasons for making Halo:Reach Rated "M"
are blood and violence. THATS IT!!! 1. theres very very little blood in the game 2. Violence is the only thing that would really be wrong with it. I personally think that if it was teen rated it would have more sales. (this next topic is not related to bungie) Also when i was 7,8,9,10,11,12 gamestop and other videogame stores didn't even stop to say "Wait are you 13" Never once did they say that but they say it with the "M" ratings.(well, for 17)I know you'll say that "Oh Bungie can't make that descision." well they should try to make future halo games have less blood, -blam!- themes, gore, and strong language;in my opinion its not necessary as long as the game is fun and addictive. please vote if you think that bungie should try to make the next halo game like "Halo Combat Evolved 20th Anniversary" or "Halo 4" teen rated or not.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

Well for one, Bungie isn't making Halo anymore.
On another note, the rating isn't decided by the game developer, it is decided by ESRB based on the content inside the game.

"Halo Combat Evolved 20th Anniversary"
Didn't know the first Halo came out in 1991.

No one should be allowed to play it!

If they do something like halo, either buff up the maturity or take it down to teen.

Halo barely made it into the M category IMO

Go away.

Last thing we need is more young people playing Halo. They shouldn't even be playing the M rated games.

He'd have instantly stopped and knelt down, one fist on the ground, hoping to be impervious to the officer's attacks. When this would have failed and he's in the back of the police car, he'd blame his predicament on his friends for not being team players.
Bungie's new game: Particle

I'd rather Bungie not nerf content just to make the "T" rating.

Oh yeah, you should have been there. We didn't have anything to play the disc, all we did was sit there and look at it.

No, they shouldn't.

As the Supreme Court has just recently ruled, video games qualify as free speech.

IMO, it should put an end to age requirements for buying games.

It shouldn't, all that should do is give developers more freedom about what to put in video games.

Touché. It's neither here, nor there to me - just my opinion.

Pwned

From what I've heard there's no law restricting people under 17 from buying an M rated game. However most store policies restrict it and are heavily enforced to ensure customer satisfaction (i.e. no whining parents). I could be wrong though never actually looked into it, that's just what I've been told.
