Its been a dream of mine, ever since that first match in Halo 2, to see so many people in one match, why not? Imagine maybe one day you dont feel like playing, but you want to watch some of your friends. As the match begins, you start from a birds eye view of the map, and suddenly players begin flowing out of the buildings to fight, so many of them, it looks like rush hour in L.A.- lol, but seriously, why not have more people, it gives a greater feel of a war, 4v4 is small- quick and simple, 5v5 yields slightly more action (depending on the map), 6v6 was invasion, and lets face it, everyone cried when they were only losing by 1 point! 8v8 was mostly on large maps where players had to travel for 5 minutes just to see one enemy. That being the case, why not have larger multiplayer sessions, not just more players, but more play time? We all know that with more players, there's going to be those poor guys who cant get a shot off just yet, maybe in 2 minutes they start doing well, what fun would it be for the game to end right then? Firefight was for 15-30minutes depending on how quickly you could dispatch the covenant, and there were only 4 players, but sooner or later they would mess up and die, and the domino affect would occur.
MY IDEA= Why not combine multiplayer, AND firefight, so not only do you have to fight another player, but the two ai's following them? And with matchmaking, add larger playlists. This idea is intended for whatever title comes next, i dont expect it to be applied to halo (but that'd be awesome though) but id really appreciate it if everyone could look at this and give their thoughts on it. Don't just say- "Oh thats dumb matchmaking is fine the way it is." because you're a sad liar who cant handle even 2 guys shooting you at once.... That aside, PLZ PLZ PLZ give your opinion! Thank you for your time and have a nice day.
