Is there a reason why we can't link sites that are 'secure' like 'https://www.example.com'?

Example

Just wondering. Sometimes when I'm inserting a hyperlink I'll forget to remove the 's' from 'https' and the link won't work.

I'm guessing because sites using the HTTPS protocol generally have sensitive information and thus are prey to phishing scams.

What are we supposed to be discussing here?

"Nothing in the 'Verse can stop me."

HTTPS is not supported in BNet's URL linking. Drop the S and you'll be fine.

Most times if you leave off the "S" to allow it to be a link it will still take you where you want to go.

There once was an ugly barnacle. He was so ugly that everyone died.

The end.

SCFH

Edit: nevermind. I have no idea why.
