We don't know that, according to the Wiki's, there was an Arbiter present during the Battle of Reach, probably ended up dying, Thel was leading the Invasion force, so we are not talking about him, but there could very well have been an Arbiter sent down since the missions they do are suicidal.

Maybe the elite's foot that steps in front of the screen at the end of Lone Wolf was an Arbiter.

What are you doing here?

I wouldn't think they would send an Arbiter for just two Spartans.

  • 07.22.2011 12:22 AM PDT

I wake up to find myself
After all these years
And where all the time has gone
Still seems so unclear

They only use Arbiters in times of "great peril" for the Covenant. The battle of Reach was a big battle, but not something that threatened the Covenant. And I don't ever recall them mentioning an Arbiter on or during Reach's fall.

Besides, Six and Emile weren't that important as people to send an Arbiter, even if they did have one around.

How anyone can make this claim based on seeing just an Elite's foot is unbelievable.

The elites toe nail gave it all away, it obviously an Arbiter. Joke.

Signatures are for squares.

Outside of a BOARD GAME, which has like absolutely nothing to do with canon, there is no evidence to support an Arbiter being at Reach.

Last time i recall that "arbiter" was part of the board game and never talked about outside of that. i vaguely remember reading it in "the fall of reach", but never elaborated.

And the arbiter wasn't leading the invasion force.

Um negative. it was sent after a fleeing ship that happened to carry a spartan.

Why do people think that Elite is an Arbiter O_o There's nothing at all to back that up or even lead to that assumption...and it's certainly NOT Thel Vadamee (the Arbiter of Halo 2/3)!

I have half a mind to PM a halo wiki mod to make them remove it.

It won't matter because if it isn't speculation then it isn't allowed. don't worry cobra we will have our day

Noble 6 and Emile were nothing, why would they send one of their most valuable fighters to do basically nothing...?

Isn't Thel the only elite we know that wields his sword in his left hand. The one in Lone Wolf was wielding it in his left.

That's a tiny bit of evidence. Why would Bungie make the elite in Lone Wolf wield the energy sword in his left if it meant nothing? They could have made him enter from the right side.

Rtas 'Vadum and another random Spec-Ops Elite in Halo 2 wield their swords in their left hands. Seriously, you're lookign too much into this.
