no point in getting halo 2 for PC why you may ask. because its a year old game which by the time it comes out it will be about 2 years old. the only difference between the xbox version of halo 2 and the PC version is that the PC version will have higher res graphics, you will need a good computer just to run the game which will be expensive and pointless. the game will get some of the bugs fixed plus there will be servers so the host advangate will be very little plus some other stuff.
buy an xbox for about £100 with halo 2 or buy a £900 PC with halo 2 and windows vista for about £1200. which would you choose.
You're acting like the only thing you can do with an expensive computer is play Halo 2.
I already have a good enough PC. PC's are a better value than consoles because they do so much more. Internet, DVDs, music, Email, mods, video editing, play games with higher resolution graphics, and more.
With consoles you're stuck with the same outdated hardware for the next five years. PCs can always be upgraded so you can always have the best experience.
It's annoying how people who can't afford decent PCs exxagerate the price. My PC cost about $700 and I can play BF2 at near-maximum settings, and Halo runs at max at 40+ FPS. Next time, before you open your mouth, get your facts straight.
BTW, get a job kid, just because you can't afford a good PC, that doesn't mean PCs suck.
Not to be a bum, but I paid 500 US dollars for my computer (speakers and monitor included). Although I built mine, it really wouldn't be hard for yours to beat mine-with one small upgrade. I have the following 512 MB RAM, 120 GB HDD that was an external hard drive, but I took it apart and used it as an IDE drive from western digital, Athlon XP 2800+, and integrated audio (Nvidia 5.1 surround), but here is the trump card... The graphics card. I get 60 FPS with vert sync on and it goes over 100 at any given time with it off. The card itself? X800XT all in wonder... I suggest getting one like it. Your computer must be bowed to by mine-except for the graphics card. It cost more than the rest of my computer combined, but in my opinion, it is the best to spend your money on for gaming. Before Vista comes out and Halo 2 for PC, I intend to buy at least 2 GB of RAM and 2 large SATA HDDs and a new motherboard with a 64-bit processor. Then I will be ready for Vista...I bought my XBOX just for Halo and Halo 2. I have a 360 for Halo 3 and Perfect Dark Zero (awesome game, contrary to popular belief) and I am a huge fan of Halo and Halo 2, I will be getting Halo 2 for the PC. All of this was written to prove your point even more, it is really easy to get a gaming computer by buying your parts in the proper order (I'm never going to be done upgrading...) so for all of you out there who have crappy computers, 4 words (depending), RAM and graphics card. Sorry about grammatical and spelling errors.
