Lets face it, if your going to have a giant universe, if its science fiction then it is going to be more malleable then any other universe.

I'm pretty sure that Bungie said they were going to make a brand new universe, pretty much to compensate for Reach's universe.

Lets give them some ideas?

I would like to see heaps of cool little facts that are true in real life and go hand in hand with the storyline, such as:

5% of all people who get shot in the head live.
The best way to survive being hit by a car is to jump into the windscreen because it breaks but doesn't shatter making it nearly like a net.
The amount of blood you can lose before you die and the symptoms along the way.

All these could be added to a new universes storyline and would definitely grab the attention of gamers.

Now suggest a feature you would like in a new Bungie universe!

There once was an ugly barnacle. He was so ugly that everyone died.

The end.

SCFH

Whatever it is, i hope they have an option that allows you to add AI to custom games.

The things that happen in real life usually aren't the best for games. For instance you say that 5% of all people shot in the head live (don't know where that statistic came from but that's another issue that's not important to the point I'm about to make). Would you really like it if you shot someone in the head, they live, and then they kill you right back? Personally that would frustrate me knowing that even shooting someone in the head doesn't guarantee anything.

People want consistency in their games. When someone shoots their gun, they want the projectile to go where the reticule is pointed, at least for the first shot anyway if you're going to factor in bloom. You know why the introduction of tripping wasn't ever accepted as something good for the the Super Smash Bros. series? Because it introduced something random that never needed to be there in the first place.

I'm not saying that putting real life effects in games is a bad thing. All I'm saying is think of how it will effect the game before suggesting it.

Bungie's second best universe (after Marathon). I don't see why Bungie's next game has to be set in a sci-fi universe.

"Oh you -blam!- camping whore!"
"It's a legitimate strategyyyyyyy!"

While I disagree they do not need it to be in a sci fi universe, I hope they do as I do NOT like fantasy like WoW, LotR, etc.

You're right, clearly that hasn't worked well for people in the past...

I mean to the storyline, not gameplay.

Imagine this, opening credits, the character is on the edge of a cliff, and someone shoots them in the head. They fall into an epic river, and then some epic voice that narrates the story says...

5% of all people who are shot in the head survive...

Epic...

And I got this statistic from Manswers. Its quite a good show.
