Roughly Five Years before the Fall of Reach, a Unique artifact is found hidden on a Human World by the Covenant, Not Forerunner, covenant, or even Human. This Artifact is brought to High Charity where it is studied; for the most part, the best minds of the Prophets and Elites cannot make heads or tails of it, and Engineers just go Insane.

Durring the studing, a poor happless grunt accidentally activates the Artifact. A massive Green Portal appears and swallows the entire Covenant Capital before shrinking to a size that would just barely allow one of their corvette analogs to pass through; Its typically Large fleet of escorting ships have been left behind.

High Charity is no longer in the Halo Universe, but has been dropped into the Eldar Webway by an Old One Artifact. Its current location is "Near" the Dark Eldar City of Commorragh(Just a few Scarab sized portals away).

And its arival has not gone unnoticed, Both Dark Eldar and Harlequin Scouting forces are already near by, with Craftworld Eldar already learning of its arival(By Harlequins or Vision)

Unfortunatly for the Halo Universe, the Old One Artifact has added an entire brand new, Mostly Deamon Free section of Webway, strecthing through out the Halo Milky Way Galaxy.

How Long will High Charity Survive stranded in the Web Way on the Door step of 40k's biggest -blam!-s? How Will the Covenant Empire react to loosing its capital in another Dimension? How will the various Eldar groups React to having a Chaos(Mostly!) free Galaxy to settle/Raid/Conquer? How will the Native empires(UNSC and Covenant) react to the Eldar?

[b]And to be perfectly clear, long extinct races that have only lingering connections to either side will not be particpating in any way other than providing the Odd Mcguffin; No Forerunner/Precursour's and no (Further) Old One involvement.

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

i am sorry even with my extremely limited knowledge of warhammer i know that anything in war hammer would massacre halo.

Would be better if the Defense fleet went with High Charity so it could start a war.

SC = Supreme Commander/Supreme Canadian.

De Facto leader of the military of the APE (Allied Planets Empire).

Coup = Admiral Asskicker, ZPM hive ship

High Charity itself is nothing.

High Charity with it's defense fleet is maybe a small threat.

UNSC/Covenant forces are a bump in the road to WH40k. It's sad, but true.

We should know better, because we are better.

High Charity will not live long. If they so wanted, the Eldar could destroy the place in a day. If the DE arrives first, the entire covenant hierarchy will be subject to horrific tortures, the like of which they have never seen. If the other Eldar arrive first, they won't get off any better.
When the Eldar find the Halo verse, they will do what they wanted to do in the first place: Kill all the mon'keigh (us) and take over the whole place. Even though the Eldar are one of the smaller races numerically, they still are massively powerful. Like the others said: speed bump.

WHAT? ..

With the exception of the Forerunner and Precursors, the Haloverse would be nothing to the power of Warhammer. That universe is so overpowered.

"There is no time for peace. No respite. No forgiveness. There is only WAR!"

to end all arguments between the universes.

Space marines VS Spartans!

Dark Eldar and Eldar. This is who the Covenant face.

>Eldar

>Is from Warhammer

----

>Halo

>Using contemporary fiction

>Eldar wins.

Though I do have a few questions. Ships, firstly, are a no brainer with the exception of the Covenant's strongest ships, Eldar win there, so effectively win the match. But how would ground forces hold up? I have seen Eldars fall to bullets and a chainsaw, so perhaps a ground battle would be more fair.

I think the space marine bullets are far larger then normal ones.

.75 caliber, mass-reactive, rocket propelled, admantium/diamond tipped bolt rounds that can also swap out their explosive charge for incendiary ammo and similar. As for the Eldar, their bullets are mono-molecular edged shuriken (Craftworld) or frozen poison (DE). Chainswords are also absurdly sharp and could probably cut through Mjolnir.

Flood's and Universe's Warhammer 40k fanatic and the one who knows much about it.

I also like House Stark and winter, hurr.

Well, there basicly are no proper ways to survive on webway, unless you have the map of the webway, knowledge of it and ability to navigate inside it.

Which covenant don't have, though they could survive for some time due the fragile nature and raiding speciality of DE naval forces, but not eternally.

To remind you guys, High Charity is linked to the rest of the webway through a few portals big enough to drive a scarab through; outside of bombers and fighters, Craftworld and Darke Eldar Navies will not be attacking the Covenant stranded capital.

And there is still a large portal(corvette sized) where High Charity used to be, that could be used to bring in reinforcements and Evacuate the city when the covenant decide it's a lost cause.
