Hi guys i hope this is the right place to ask, but what software should i run to download and play my game clips from Bungie pro on a Mac? i want to start a youtube channel for halo reach and i have a friend who recommended just editing my clips on Theatre mode and then using Bungie pro to send it to my computer then just download the clip and upload it to youtube, sounds awesome as i don't have to buy a 'dazzle razzle wazzle recorder thing to record my games ^^ but when i tried to download a clip the other day it was just a small page of code, so i guess i need some software to run it on a mac? any ideas?

cheers

Try Flip4mac or Prism.

Also, your going to have to render you clips along with paying for the service. HD rendering get expensive doing it that way though.

I recommend an HD PVR. However, you have to pay another $30 for mac software for it :(

cheers, i'll try the flip4mac or prism first, i don't wanna do commentary for my vids, just an apt description of the vid in the title and a little clip of some good runs or funny clips, maybe some campaign tips and tricks. i agree about Bungie pro it looks like it could cost more in the long term than if i just buy a HD PVR and software over the long term it will probably save me money, is it easy to use the HD PVR? i am not very tech savvy. :)

I have not got my HD pvr. From what I heard, its kinda hard to learn for the PC software, but IDK about the mac software.

Also your not going to really be able to do anything you want to do unless you get an editing program and spend a lot on Bungie Pro. It would be cheaper to get the HD pvr. Plus the extra for the mac software is equal to what it would cost for prism or flip 4 mac.

I have an HDPVR, but if your running a mac you will need either Eye TV software version 3.1 or higher or HDPVRCapture. HDPVR capture is a application created by a developer of the PC software It costs $29.99, but I think it's worth it and there is a demo/trial version you can use before purchasing. Eye TV is worth $80, but if you have an Egato TV tuner thing then you already have it.

Here are the links to both softwares:

I have a Mac and I also make Reach videos.

I'd recommend this.

It's rather expensive, but for 200, the 1080i recording is worth it.

Oh, and you'll also have to pay about $40 for a program that converts the videos for use in iMovie or iTunes. There's a link to it on the site.

There is thing new thing called Thunderbolt on Macs now. I'm not sure what they are, but you may want to check those out.
