Just wondering. It's not too far from where I reside and I'd like to swing by sometime.

I work for the Department of Defense.

You have to get past security.

That's out of date with Bungie's move into their new hotness, but you can assume it's the same deal.

You could probably swing by the main office or whatever they have there, doubt you'd get past that without a meeting/invitation. No idea though.

The lobby is larger than the last studio. So they do have room for some visitors. Some have it luckier than others.

This pretty much.

You can probably feel free to go to the mall area where they're based, but that's going to be your extent.

For Narnia!

One does not simply walk into Bungie Studios.

  • 07.25.2011 12:05 AM PDT

They are busy making a new game, so no visitors.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

No cameras. Just walk by and take a look. Make sure you use the same route on the may home so you can see it again.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I think that you can go into the main lobby. That would be the extent though.

When I grow up, I want to be just like goofenhour.

You could sit outside and look at the studio without being invited. Get 10 feet within the door, it's a whole new ball game. Next thing you know you got Jerome with his arms spread wide all up in your face telling you that you got to go. I learned from experience.

One does not simply QWOP into Bungie Studios.

Fix'd and quoted for being a C&H coup bro.

Anyway, Recon told a tale once of getting into Bungie studios and Jerome giving him a bit of a meet and greet. He may get special treatment though.

Out of bounds.

Also Bungie has emphasized this already: It's a place of work and business not a museum or a zoo.

It's true that other game devs like Valve have set up their offices in such a way that visitors (with permission) are given a tour. Bungie only opens its gates to sick kids.

Bungie's studio is a private workplace. It's not a public forum for the exchange of goods and services, and it's not a museum. There are no guided tours and going in without an invitation is trespassing. It isn't the Hershey Factory. Leave the place alone and let them do their jobs.
