@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

You're the one making the claims, give us the YouTube vids, the portions of the vids where they state your information, and then we can be informed.

Sorry if something like this was done before but I have gathered some info that should help understand the story of Halo 4.

1. Frank O'Connor hinted at Halsey, Mendez, and the lost Spartans being present in Halo 4. Its likely the whole game will take place on that planet so its possible thats where they are.

2. This is a good one. If you've seen the Halo 4 picture (yes the picture is official/legit) that shows MC standing there looking forward you can notice that there appears to be wiring going from machinery to his armor. Frank O'Connor also avoided answering the question "will you get to use Forerunner armor?". Its possible at some point you will get some sort of Mjolnir-Forerunner hybrid upgrade.

3. Halo Grasslans is said to be surrounding ONI secrecy, they havn't said any big info but its possible ONI has been holding secrets.

4. If Im not mistaken the description of the enemies in Halo 4 was "an Ancient enemy" or something along those lines. In Halo Cryptum it is revealed that Humanity fought a war with the Forerunners and lost, that would technically make the Forerunners "an Ancient enemy"

5. Adding to number four, the Forerunners had numerous shield worlds that could saved them from Halo, most notably one linked to Onyx. With safety precautions like that its almost certain that some had to have survived. Halo Wars showed the Flood in a shield world too and a reason for them to even had been there could be because they followed "food" into the world.

Please note that when I say Foreunners I may be including Precursors with them (yes, I know they are different). Its possible the enemies are creations of one of them. Halo CEA is supposed to give some clues so Im definitely gonna check that out when I can.

Add some of your own if have any, and tell me what you think.

1. What the hell? no he didn't if anything he pretty much confirmed that they wouldn't be in the game.

2.i never heard or seen that. so imma need some links and quotes

3.glasslands you can't even spell it right "r" and "l" are completely separate from each other so it wasn't "a typo".

And ONI was said to be in the novel but the entire novel isn't about them.

4.why do people only pick out parts of a post they want to go with their own ideas? The enemy was said to be New,Ancient,Evil, and a threat to the universe; the forerunners don't fit any of that nor do the covenant or flood.

5. we have known since IRIS the forerunner are still alive.

You are on par with immortal josh after this post

1. Source please.

2. SOURCE PLEASE

3. Uh, I'll just use this to say I feel I'm partly responsible for the "grasslands" thing. My thread if I remember correctly used the word grasslands instead of glasslands. Sorry about that. Also of course ONI has secrets. They always do.

4. I doubt the forerunners will be the enemies. Yeah they waged war against the humans however they didn't learn why the humans forcefully conquered peaceful worlds. The forerunners, now with the master builder out of the way and with born, who has developed a liking for the humans, essentially leading the forerunners up until the activation of the array, they don't consider humans to be a issue/threat. Labeling them as reclaimers confirms this. If anything the Timeless One is the one who is most likely to become the main villain in the new trilogy.

5. They're alive. They're just outside the galaxy.
