What you're saying is partly true , however I'll only be able to comment with a fully backed opinion on release day ( I've already pre-ordered the game) . I have watched the videos on youtube showing game play and the music does sound a little bit off from its usual performance . I think 343 Industries might get a bit too creative when it comes to this , as they might try and create their own musical flair and characteristics to differ from the 'Bungie-feel' of the game . However I will still be fully committed to the franchise's new creators until I've seen what they've done on release day .

I'm pretty confident that 343 Industries will not run down the Halo name , and that Bungie has left the franchise to a willing able-bodied task force . I expect that both Halo Combat Evolved:Anniversary and Halo 4 will feature a full-fledged soundtrack that we'll love.
I wouldn't put all my faith into this just yet.
Listen to the soundtrack for Halo CEA that's been shown so far. 343i messed up in a lot of areas. They tried remaking it by ear. They wouldn't even ask Marty for copies of the original music sheets, even though he recently eBay'd the original Halo 3 sheet music. Now come on, does that not even show the slightest indication that the soundtrack for Halo from now on will be sub-par?
I can't imagine that Marty wouldn't want to work with them to make it better, but 343i has already targeted a completely different composer for the new trilogy so it's too late now, I suppose.
The Halo music was the thing that defined the franchise, being the most consistently kick-ass part of the games, but without that, I have little hope for the rest of the series.
