There are numerous amounts of Halo Combat Evolved:Anniversary threads already getting users to start disliking the game before it's even out because it is not going to be a Bungie-made game . I want to put a stop to that , and encourage you (the community) to expect a fantastic game from 343 Industries. I would like you to post what innovative ideas and improvements you think will be implemented in the games to come. We've already heard of the very useful "Classic" mode in Halo Combat Evolved:Anniversary , which allows players to hit the 'back' button and play and enjoy the untouched original Halo Combat Evolved. This happens with a brief loading time and will not detract from the game . Another thing that 343 Industries will be doing is adding skulls , which is a great way to improve the game's replay value . You can view an officially announced skull in the link provided :

I ask you to share your opinions on new innovations and ideas that 343 might come up with , and also share your own innovations and thoughts on the upcoming Halo games and how they can and should be improved .

I'm thinking customizable Skulls; Weapons DLC for Forge and Custom Games (I MISS MY MA5B); a Skull for Reach physics and controls (like lowering your weapon with a button combination); and Theater.
For the Halo: Reach update: Armor DLC, plus the ability to choose the state of your Reach Spartan's armor (charred and bloody to Halo 3 quality).

They arent changing the gameplay at all, besides probably Bad Ass assassinations. They are updating graphics and and thats it.

Also in Matchmaking they are adding the armor abilities in matchmaking only.

We will still have the same game, and hopefully indestructible warthogs.

And my overpowered pistol please.

One thing I'm excited about it the classic 'Halo' feel with no bloom ! It adds another element to Halo:Reach but I feel it will be much appreciated in Halo Combat Evolved:Anniversary

Dont worry kkrotz you bloom doesnt matter when you can kill a player anywhere on the map with your nice pistol that is freaking awesome. 3 shot kill better than a DMR.

Save last checkpoint
Revert to last checkpoint
Revert options

Selecting revert options brings up a list all the checkpoints that you saved. Selecting one reverts you to that checkpoint.


My ideas:

-usable Wraith
-smarter AI (1)(2)(3)
-other complaints

inb4 can't inb4 yourself
inb4 if 343 listens to him, Halo's doomed (although that may be true)

Food for 7hought... Gonna go out on a very long limb here, but I honestly think it would be cool if one of the multiplayer character options was to be a Brute. The Elites have been around since Halo 2, so just to spice it up, I think the Brutes would be a nice addition. Also, along with the exploding Grunts preorder bonus, i think there should be an extra DLC to be a Grunt in multiplayer too. 'Course, if everyone saw that poor "sucker" getting around on a map, everyone would be all over him in a flash...

Dunno... Maybe I'm alone in these thoughts...

Your brute in Multiplayer idea is pretty neat and original . Not really convinced with the grunt idea though ...

THATS MY COOL MAN I CAN'T TAKE IT OFF!

Create a skull that when found/activated, any level taking place during the daytime now takes place at night, and vice versa (for all indoor levels like The Library something else would have to happen).

I mean it's just another graphics thing, wouldn't affect gameplay at all.

You didn't need skulls to improve replay value for CE. I played the Krap outta the game and never tired of it.
Skulls would make it interesting to maybe get to places we may have never gotten to using previous methods.
I want to like the game as an updated version of the best game ever. Yet, I want them to slip enough extra, obscure stuff, inside to reward die hards.
Regardless, I will get it, turn it on Legendary and expect the greatness to overwhelm me. Not interested in multiplayer at all.

For anyone who has played the original Halo game most of you i'm betting will remember how driving a Warthog was about as easy as riding an angry elephant. In the anniversay game are they gonna change the way the Warthog moves and add more grip to it?

OMG why the hell are they adding things? You know they if they add anything else like that grunt funeral skull they just might ruin the game and wouldn't that skull make legendary a bit easy?

You're right man , it might make Legendary easier then it should be , but if you're looking for a challenge , simply play without it ...

You're right man , it might make Legendary easier then it should be , but if you're looking for a challenge , simply play without it ...

I think the skull will, in some cases, make Anniversary harder. You won't be able to melee the Grunts without the risk of being blown to pieces. As a skull I think it will work, as it does change the game slightly, akin to the Cowbell skulls, but without changing the actual AI.
