You are right - windows does not read HFS fromatted cds.
However, there is still a way (2 in fact).
method 1:
If you have a mac running OSX handy, you can use it to change the data into a format windows can handle, then, copy it to your windows machine (by burning to cd, or using a USB stick etc)
Go to the command line, and type:
cp /path/to/CD/data/Shapes /path/to/windows_files/Shapes
cp /path/to/CD/data/Sounds /path/to/windows_files/windows_files/Sounds
cp /path/to/CD/data/Music /path/to/windows_files/windows_files/Music
cp /path/to/CD/data/Map /path/to/windows_files/windows_files/Map
cp /path/to/CD/data/Map/rsrc /path/to/windows_files/windows_files/Map.resources
cp /path/to/CD/data/Images /path/to/windows_files/windows_files/Images
cp /path/to/CD/data/Images/rsrc /path/to/windows_files/windows_files/Images.resources
method 2:
This way only needs a windows PC, but you have to download a program called HFVExplorer. It allows you to read the Mac Action Sack, and copy the data to your harddrive in the correct formats. Instuctions are in the INSTALL.Windows.txt
