Subject: Totally ridiculous NOT giving us HALO: CE Multiplayer

I can't believe that Halo: CE is coming back out but without the most important aspect, online multiplayer.

Halo: CE multiplayer was the only reason I bought Halo2. I heard Halo 3 was going to be more like Halo 1 so I bought that. Halo: Reach appeared to be going back to it's roots (Halo1) so I bought that.

Basically all these games have been living in the shadow of Halo1's multiplayer ever since, and now that you have someone above you making you re-create Halo1, you're STILL not going to re-produce the experience??

And why, "because of net coding"? Why don't you take some tutoring lessons from xboxconnect? They figured it out, and they didn't even make the damn game!

So what's this I hear about a new game engine running on top of the old game engine? Greeeeeat. Do it for multiplayer.

I traded in Halo Reach and Halo3, Halo: CE is a purchased xboxlive game that I wish I could play with other people.

It's not like they don't know how to re-write the code, it's just going to take far too long.

Also, I think they didn't want to damage the Reach multiplayer population either by giving us another multiplayer game.

I am a pharmaceutical scientist. I received my Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2010, after working as a Pharmacist for 4 years. I currently work in King of Prussia, PA, and focus on the analytical chemistry of small molecule APIs. My clients include some of the most well known big pharma companies in the world.

This. And, I'm willing to bet that when CEA releases, we'll get a playlist in Reach completely dedicated to CE maps and CE multiplayer settings. It's not the BEST option, but it's about as good as it's going to get, and I'm still excited for it. Really hoping for Hang em High (likely) and Boarding Action (not as likely, but would need to change my pants if it was included).

Ugh. More idiots blinded by nostalgia. No gaming company with half a brain is going to split their online community between two games, besides, halo ce multi. wouldnt last a day in this generation of cods and gears and battlefields.

Halo CE shined in its campaign. Its multiplayer was mindless and simple. No multiplayer in CEA= Win.

I run Skirmish!!!

your forgetting how simple the Halo CE multiplayer was, there were few vehicles, simple maps, no ranks and not players playing with each other from around the world on a server.. All that adds everything you dislike to a multiplayer experience and would happen if they made a new multiplayer function to Halo CEA

Plus, they said that they already tried it out, and it didn't have the feeling people would expect it to; you might as well be playing any of the other Halos.

Good, Halo: CE had none of this lunging and auto-aiming bull-blam!- and if they implemented multiplayer in any other way than they did, it would have -blam!- with my childhood way too much.
