Subject: Whats next for the Halo Universe?

I saw the Halo 4 trailer(like a lot of people) and was thinking,"What is Master Chief going to fight next?"I thought of the Flood or something entirely new.I have not read the Halo books so i am hoping one of you Bungie members could give your opinion on what Master Chief is going to kill next.

Precursors are a race of beings that predated the Forerunners in Technology and in time.

Actually as evidence would suggest, the Prisoner found at Charum Hakkor is in fact, not a Precursor.

What came before the Precursors? The Ancient Humans? What came before them?

Edit: How far is this universe going to go?

We will know soon enough, but it will require thought. Deep thought. Mendicant Bias must be found. The Mantle will soon follow.

For now, we should believe evidence. If it says it's the last living Precursor (or, even one of the last), it should be regarded as such. It makes sense for the Timeless One to be either one of two races (if it is even lying in the first place); Precursor or Flood. If he was captured by the Forerunners, he's one of the two - guaranteed. That, and likely not "changed". Don't begin making wild assumptions until we know more about this situation - just wait until January. Primordium.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Read Halo: Cryptum. That should explain a lot.
