I said you looked bad because you just said "wrong" without giving any reason what so ever why.

Um, it wouldn't have been this way if you actually learned how to research properly without posting bull-blam!-, okay?

Next time, do your own research and provide with sources to support your argument.

Priceless.

Apparently you have never had a Biology class. The traits would not be inherited since they are not genetic. They are modifications.

Wouldn't perhaps be as good as a Spartan, but definitely better then normal people.

In genes, when two parents with similar traits procreate, the genes in the kids are heightened above that of the original genes.

But still, you'd have to account for they're still humans, so they probably can't take that much enhancement.

No, we already know this stuff, you were just too stupid to do your own research and were so bullheaded when we told you that you were wrong, you made yourself look like an idiot.
You need to calm down. He admit he made a mistake, and you need to let the damn thing go. The Universe forum is starting to devolve into something that more and more resembles the Reach forum, and I'd rather not see that day ever come.

What? He is right, and you know it.

Anybody who is lazy with researching and starts to post any bull-blam!- must met with harsh means. It is not difficult for anybody with capacity of fifth grade education to actually research and use the sources to back up the claim.

That guy, Nate. He never backed up his claim and kept being hardass so we had to collide at him harshly to make him to stop and learn to research or something before posting any more bull-blam!-.

I want you to take a good, hard look at the Reach forum, and then tell me that was a proper response. Truly, I want you to do it while still maintaining your preconceptions.

If the poster was denying facts, then so be it. If you can't reason with him, then there is no use to discuss it with him anymore because the purpose of this forum is to discuss the Halo Universe.

I love the vast Halo Universe, and the discussion this forum has regarding it, but the attribute which separates this forum from the cesspits about the games is that there is a degree of civility and maturity in the conversation (or at least used to be).

Oh my friend, I have. I have been at Reach forum, and I know what you are talking about.

Universe forums does not deserve Reach forum goers because a such example of this guy, Nate.

And, it can be worth to discussing if anybody have learned to how to research before making any posts which anybody would call it bull-blam!- or whatever. It's matter of being prepared to make a topic or posts here. Also, universe forums is dying as we speak due to many notable members are leaving as seeing that Bungie is going to close down all Halo related forums.

Frankly, maturity and civility is slowly dwindling as Reach forum members or Flood users are swarming in and our defenses is but all gone.

I agree that a standard of doing research on what one is talking about is necessary, but retorting with overly mean spirited replies when he admitted he was wrong is superfluous and degrades the value of the forum.

And yes, it is true that this forum is slowly dying. It's unfortunate honestly, this was one of the best forums on the website, proving that it is possible to discuss Halo without acting like little brats in every thread.

It would be like some Russian without his vodka ... super strong super stupid but gets the job done ... i actually don't know :3

  • 07.26.2011 1:44 AM PDT

Who's awesome? ^ this guy.

Yes. They are Genetically enhanced Super Soldiers. Just like every living thing in the universe, they have chromosomes. And Humans have the same Chromosomes, maybe less, therefore if they mated they would most likely create a baby that is as good as a Spartan I, why do I say this, well it's random BUT the baby will inherit genes from the regular human aswell as the Super human, thus making the baby less as strong as the super human, but stronger than a regular human. Simple Biology.

It's far more likely that a Spartan II's genes would be so massively corrupted that the baby would die at birth.

  • 07.26.2011 3:27 AM PDT

Who's awesome? ^ this guy.

But see the thing is. The genes cannot be corrupt if they are Spartan IIs because the simple fact that they live through the augmentation. Today, in modern times we have genetically enhances goats that have the ability to produce a web like substance in their milk. There is a big difference between goats and spiders, aslong as the chromosomes are identical, it should go fine. Besides, humans were made through genetic engineering. But that's just my own and the Sumerian beliefs. Doesn't make it true. But none the less, it's most likely possible that the baby would not die. If the genes were corrupted then the mother/father that was a spartan II would probably have down syndrome and wouldn't be a SII int he first place.
