Walk up to her quietly from behind and breathe heavily on the back of her neck and whisper "amore"

Their next game better have rocket boots!

I made that up.

Just like a young athlete who starts off with a success in little league or football and gets noticed by other coaches.

This athlete enters high school, wins a couple of games and recruiters take more notice.

The athlete is drafted into a big team. They want him to win the championship. They control his workout methods. His eating habits and even his thinking methods. He takes his team to the top. He enjoys playing for them but feel too restricted.

They make him sign endorsement deals. His image is used and milked to make the team and coach look good.

One day this athlete makes a decision that shocks his fans and coaches. He wants to leave the team to go play somewhere else.
The team and coaches are furious they agree to let him go but forbid him from ever wearing his jersey number. He agrees, is a little sad but happy to leave. His fans also are sad but happy.

When the athlete is gone they replace him with a less talented but still kind of respectful player who used to be his teammate. He sorta knew his playing style.

After a while the coach and teammates start to talk bad about him. They say he shouldn't have competed in some games, saying those were a mistake. He is badmouthed by the team he made famous.

The new star player gets really famous because he plays like him. He even gains the approval of some of the star athlete's old fans.

This new player is said to take the team and coach to the top.
Meanwhile the Star Athlete is watching and cooking up his own plans. He does not show hate to them but plans on surpassing them on his own. He teams up with some new athletes who agree they will help him for a little bit.

With all the money he earn from the endorsements he starts a fund to help rising athletes pay for new equipment and provides assistance if they need it.

With the same fans that have stayed loyal to him he prepares to make his move. But for now he lays low, waiting for the perfect to show the world his next move.

Bungie starts off with some cool games that creates a following. Marathon, etc..

They create Halo. Microsoft buys them and milks halo for money.

Bungie wants to be free and make new games.

They leave Microsoft, team up with Activision.

Some person who is in charge of the halo franchise basically says Reach and ODST were a mistake. (this is recent)

Bungie creates Aerospace to help newcomers.

They now lie in darkness waiting to strike at the right moment.

The beta is super awesome. RogueAssassin27 is now the person who got my Totodile's nickname. Hoo-hah! Relevant.inb4lock

So I guess this means that Square Enix is Babe Ruth?

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Interesting read, I liked it.

Bungie.net is the only website that has been able to hold my interest for such a long period of time, and I can only imagine there are still many years to come.

Microsoft hasn't "milked" Halo, thus far. Whether that continues remains to be seen.

Who?

He'd have instantly stopped and knelt down, one fist on the ground, hoping to be impervious to the officer's attacks. When this would have failed and he's in the back of the police car, he'd blame his predicament on his friends for not being team players.
Bungie's new game: Particle

I like to picture Bungie as a figure skater. He wears like a white outfit, and He does interpretive ice dances of my life's journey.
